The biggest cause of premature death in the western world is doctors.

They are the ones that get the 90%+ pure stuff. 'The rest' is like that 'slime' that is passed off as 'meat' to the 'peons'. 'The rest' is about 97% of the people that are currently alive.

I currently feel that in Canada at least we're way behind in understanding why a individual becomes addicted to the drug they're addicted to and not just any drug. We're, therefore lacking in programs and treatments that actually work.
If we would stop ignoring the brain as part of the body and that as part of the body, it too gets sick...if we could implement the findings of how early childhood trauma affect the body and mind of the adults they become and if we stop using morality policing and making those who are addicted feel like scum we might see those afflicted better able to stop using and more willing to seek treatments that would actually work.
Portugal seems to have come to terms with accepting that drug addiction is not a moral judgement, is not lacking of moral fibre and that morality policing creates citizens who require more policing.
