Yeah, and around the same time interest rates were 18%.

As for Seattle, I'll believe the "Official" study commissioned by the City of Seattle as post by T-Bone.

We read a Seattle study posted last week. The average worker is now making $120 less per month.

They're inflating the cost of energy in that one.

The real numbers show a profit margin of roughly $100/week.

Great. Let's lower everyone's wage and watch the economy boom. Want to be first in line for that program?

Conbots aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

The Official City Of Seattle Conbots that raised the wages and commisioned the study done by Washington State University is wrong?

according to the study, conducted by a group of economists at the University of Washington who were commissioned by the city.
These Conbots?

You need to start an Official Flossie's Follies thread.

And guess what I found? You. Try trading insults with someone more your level. There must be a children's playground close to where you live.
ok, fair enough. Staying on topic, your related post had some twisted logic that was so out there that my first response was to blame you. If you care to explain it, ill read it.

It would seem that the economists in your OP are concentrating solely on the increase in minimum wage without considering the other relatively recent increases in the costs of doing business in Ontario.

I agree. They are basically throwing out a number but rather than having that number based on a specific standard of living. They fail to see that minimum wage not the problem but it can be a remedy. unfortunately it is a remedy to a standard that they haven't defined. Rest assured the Liberals will be patting themselves on the back for a fine job unverified.
