I liked Jeb Bush, but he was illuminated at the start.
I was saying Trump would be great as President, until the joke was over and he was actually the last man standing of all the Republicans.. then it got real.. and I was hoping for ANYTHING but Trump.
Trump is good late night comedy, and comedy relief.. that's about it.

I voted for Trump, specifically because I thought that, despite the fact that he's an odious worm, he'd help put through some Republican policies I favor.

Yeah, my enthusiasm for Trump is beginning to fade. I saw great promise at the start, someone who was capable of being his own man and sticking to his guns and was actually going to do something (at long last) and put an end to the shit like drugs and gangsters. I think he still wants to do these things but has too much opposition. His ideas are good but difficult to execute! His idea of hiring the Mooch was just brain dead.
The good part about hanging out with old farts like y'all is at least y'all get most of my pop-culture references.
