On Dating Websites, why are there so many more Men than women?

ok I have noticed and I am wanting to hear what you think,

why are there so many more men out there on dating sites than women?

it's like at least 10 to 1 in favour of men!

what is it about these sites that women tend to stay away from a lot more than men?

Danger. It's no different than any other situation where there is an imminent threat of danger. You will almost always find more men than women in risky situations.

I think the answer is contained in an old joke:

Two six year olds, a boy and a girl, were playing one day. The boy pulled down his pants, and said, 'Look what I've got! You don't have one of these, do you?'
The girl pulled down her pants, and said, 'No, but I've got one of these, and that means I can get as many of those as I want!'

Because it's easier for a woman to grab any guy she wants just by asking, then it is for males to try and do the same...... because most women still don't hold a lot of trust with the internet and meeting/talking to someone you've never met face to face.... where men generally don't care too much, as if they end up meeting some middle-aged trucker posing as the woman of their dreams, they can generally deal with that situation better then a woman meeting up with some guy who wasn't who they said they were and ends up slicing off their vagina to put up on his wall with the others.

ya women do tend to be much more vulnerable.

Imagine the bloodbath, if Col. Russel Williams had advertised in "dating sites"

Col in the RCAF.................blah blah blah. Doubt very much if he would have added "likes to video, sexually assault, and kill, women"

Well, you never know. It is those quiet, shy, reserved, self professed inexperienced ones who pose a greater threat, you know.
