Socialite sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell's court gambit torpedoed

Author of the article:Brad Hunter

Jeffrey Epstein had it all figured out.

If his billion-dollar bank account couldn’t get him off the hook for his vile crimes, that thick black contact book would. It held a bounty of names, addresses and phone numbers of the rich and famous.

And it worked for a very long time, allowing him and his coterie of like-minded pals to rape, assault and exploit underage girls at his pleasure palaces in New York, Palm Beach and the Caribbean.

But that was then and this is now, as socialite-turned-sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell discovered Tuesday.

A federal appellate court upheld Maxwell’s convictions for conspiring to commit sex trafficking with Epstein by enticing young girls and grooming the victims for abuse.

Maxwell, 62, was convicted in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in a federal prison. And there she will stay, perhaps until she is as dead as a doornail.

The publishing heiress’s legal team had argued that Epstein’s stomach-churning sweetheart plea deal from 2007 in Florida protected her prosecution in New York. Among the bon mots in the “worst deal ever” was a non-prosecution agreement for the fiendish financier’s “potential co-conspirators.”

Read: Maxwell.

Epstein — who killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on a slew of sex trafficking charges — copped to soliciting prostitution of a minor to get the deal.

That allowed him to slither out of a federal case and big-time, adult jail. Maxwell thought the deal extended to her.

She tried it at her 2021 trial, her 2022 sentencing and again in her 2023 appeal. Maxwell claimed the feds caved to “public outrage” over Epstein’s deal. Besides, it was her beloved one-time paramour who was responsible, her lawyers argued.

But Maxwell soon discovered that Epstein was no longer pulling strings from the grave. There was no favouritism, no winks this time. And this week, the court found “no errors” in the “District Court’s conduct of this complex case”.

No go, Ms. Maxwell.

To an extent, Maxwell was somewhat of a proxy for Jeffrey Epstein, because by the time of her trial, he was on the midnight train to Nowheresville.

And a slew of women — horrifically abused when they were young — came forward at her trial. There were the threesomes, the grooming, and the sexual abuse at the hands of the posh rich girl.

Jurors saw what the world saw: A black-hearted woman obsessed with money, class, power, celebrity and sex. In that respect, Maxwell and Epstein were two peas in a pod.

Both believed the young girls they shared twin billing in destroying were nothing, trash from the wrong side of the tracks. To be disposed of like an empty tube of lube.

A proper accent, the best clothes and private schools can never hide what Ghislaine Maxwell truly is.

She believed that Epstein’s money, connections, and political cache were her armour. From the beginning, Maxwell has been incredulous about her circumstances. That is born out of a lifetime of supreme privilege.

For someone spoiled rotten since her English-manor childhood having to suffer the temerity of her lessers, be they cops, victims, judges … well!

Her release date is July 17, 2037. She will be 75 years old.

Maxwell will haughtily emerge from prison, believing in her cold heart she has done nothing wrong.

She alleged that she was forced into having sex with “sweaty” Prince Andrew on three separate occasions.

All the men have denied wrongdoing. Giuffre and Maxwell reached an undisclosed settlement over a defamation case in 2017.

Maxwell was convicted in 2022 and jailed for 20 years for her role in the conspiracy with Epstein to sexually abuse and traffic minors.

For his part, the disgraced Prince Andrew paid Giuffre a reported $20 million out-of-court settlement. However, despite the big payday, he insisted he did nothing wrong.

In the wake of the disaster, he has lost his royal and military titles.

What's going on with Prince Andrew sex accuser Virginia Giuffre?

Author of the article:Brad Hunter
Published Apr 02, 2025 • Last updated 1 day ago • 3 minute read

The woman who triggered the massive sex trafficking probe into billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his pal Prince Andrew is supposed to be dead.

Virginia Giuffre, 41, made the shock announcement Sunday on Instagram.

She told followers she would be dead in four days from injuries suffered in an Australian school bus crash. But here she is.

EPSTEIN VICTIM: Virginia Giuffre claims she has just days to live after being in a horror crash.
Now, it’s emerged that Giuffre — who claims she was forced into underage sex with Andrew when she was just 17 — had been charged with breaching a family violence restraining order.

Those charges were filed just days before the horror crash. She entered no plea at a courthouse near Perth. She allegedly breached the restraining order against her estranged husband on March 14.

Giuffre claimed she had been sex trafficked around the world after being plucked from her job as a towel girl at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort by Epstein’s second banana, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.

She had been slated to be back in court on April 9, but that may now be in doubt because of her injuries.

In the meantime, husband Robert Giuffre is also in trouble with the cops. He has been charged with inadequate storage for guns, as well as reckless driving exceeding the speed limit by 27 mph in September 2024. He was fined and lost his licence for six months over the driving charge.

The Giuffres have been married for 22 years and no longer reside in the same abode.

The UK Sun reports that Virginia has been struggling due to “not being able to see her kids.”

On March 22, before the accident, she posted: “My beautiful babies have no clue how much I love them and they’re being poisoned with lies. I miss them so very much.

“I have been through hell and back in my 41 years but this is incredibly hurting me worse than anything else. Hurt me, abuse me but don’t take my babies. My heart is shattered and every day that passes my sadness only deepens.”

Two days later, a bus slammed into her vehicle. On Sunday, she said she was suffering from kidney failure and that she had just four days to live.

But cops were doubtful, describing the crash as “minor” and without injuries. No charges were issued against either driver.

Giuffre posted a selfie of herself from a hospital bed, looking bruised.

Her family said in a statement: “Virginia thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support. She is overwhelmed with gratitude. Today, she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care.”

Giuffre has been out of the news since settling a lawsuit with Prince Andrew in February 2022 worth an estimated $20 million. He denied any wrongdoing but still paid out.

The Duke of York claimed he severed his deep ties with Epstein in 2010. However, emails emerging earlier this year revealed that Andrew contacted the billionaire in 2010 with the cheery missive: “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.”

Epstein died in a Manhattan jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

Meanwhile, the prince’s former girlfriend is betting her ex-paramour’s accuser won’t die from injuries allegedly suffered in the crash.

Socialite Lady Victoria Hervey called Giuffre a fake and a “fantasist.” Hervey wrote on the hospital bed photo of Giuffre, “KARMA” and refused to apologize.

Hervey said: “Virginia Giuffre is a fantasist. It’s been a long, drawn-out process these last few years, but it’s unravelling. Her lies are being exposed. Let’s see in three days, but I bet she will still be alive.

“I re-posted the Karma (post) because I felt, well you know, she deserves it. But I also knew in my head that she was lying.”

Hervey added that Giuffre’s estranged husband “knows the truth.”

“If Virginia Giuffre really does have days to live, then a complete confession is needed,” she posted.

“I don’t believe it though, the FBI are on her right now and arrest warrants are coming. She’s conveniently dying to evade jail.”

Questions remain after Prince Andrew accuser makes miracle recovery

MIRACLE! Virginia Giuffre claimed she had just days to live after being in a horror crash. She was released from a Perth hospital on Monday.
Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre has either made the most spectacular recovery in history, or her near-death story was bogus.

Giuffre was a teenage former sex slave for billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his socialite paramour Ghislaine Maxwell

The Florida native also claimed that she had sex with Prince Andrew several times when she was underage. Andrew denied any wrongdoing but coughed up an estimated $20 million to settle a lawsuit with Giuffre.

But the story took a bizarre twist last week when Giuffre posted on Instagram that she had been in a horrific crash with a school bus and had just four days to live.

On Monday, the 41-year-old mother of three was released from an Australian hospital — alive.

That follows a six-day hospital stay at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, the West Australian reported. The newspaper said she was escorted out of the hospital away from waiting media.

But cops in Perth described the crash as “minor” and that there were no reported injuries even though Giuffre posted a photo of herself appearing bruised, battered and in agony in a hospital bed.

THE FUN COUPLE: Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Her rep said she took herself to the hospital and her “condition worsened.”

Giuffre has been entangled in a bitter split from her estranged husband of 22 years, Robert. She has claimed that he assaulted her.

“I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffery Epstein who abused and trafficked me. But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent,” Giuffre told People.

“Again, I thank everyone for their support. I have faith that justice will prevail.”

Following her settlement with Prince Andrew, Giuffre purchased a 40-acre horse farm and a beachfront mansion. She now lives at the farm alone and appears to be estranged from her teenage children while Robert and the kids live on the beach.

Insiders have called the split between Giuffre and Robert “messy” and while her children attended school this week, they did not appear to visit her at the hospital during visiting hours.

Her eldest son unfriended her on social media.

More concerning, Giuffre is accused of breaching a family violence restraining order at the family home and is slated to be in court on April 9. She has not entered a plea.

“You don’t know the half of it,” one neighbour told Daily Mail Australia. “I can’t really say anymore, but none of this surprises me.”

Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre dies by suicide: Report
She also accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault.

Author of the article:postmedia News
Published Apr 25, 2025 • 2 minute read

Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre has reportedly died by suicide.

Giuffre said she was trafficked by the child sex offender and financier when she was a teen.

Her family confirmed she died on Thursday in a statement to NBC News, saying “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia.”

“She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking,” the family added in the statement. “Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”

Giuffre, who was 41, called for charges to be brought against Epstein and claimed she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew at the behest of Epstein’s associate, jailed British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, when she was just 17.

Giuffre filed a federal lawsuit against Prince Andrew in 2021 which she agreed to settle for an undisclosed fee in 2022.

Prince Andrew has denied the allegation and so has Maxwell, who is a convicted sex offender.

Epstein died in a New York prison in 2019 after being convicted of sex crimes.

Giuffre’s death comes as she shared on social media late last month that she had just days to live after being involved in a crash with a bus.

“This year has been the worst start to a new year … I won’t bore anyone with the details, but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote in a post on social media along with a photograph of herself lying in a hospital bed with a head injury.

Giuffre was originally born in Florida. She moved to Australia with her husband in 2019 prior to Epstein being arrested. The couple have three children.

Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre 'feared she would be murdered'
Author says suicide of 41-year-old 'threw me for a loop'

Author of the article:Brad Hunter
Published Apr 28, 2025 • Last updated 1 day ago • 3 minute read

The fetid stench of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s vile sex trafficking apparatus couldn’t kill Virginia Giuffre.

But the aftermath did.

Giuffre was the public face of pedophile billionaire Epstein’s countless victims. She took her own life at her home in Australia on Friday.

The 41-year-old was the third Epstein victim to die by suicide or drug overdose.

“That threw me for a loop,” author Barry Levine told the Toronto Sun. “Virginia’s death was a real gut punch. This stung and left me depressed. Virginia was the heart and soul of my book.”

Levine (an old friend of mine) wrote the seminal book on the sex trafficking that pierced the highest echelons of business, politics and royalty.

The Spider: Inside the Criminal Web of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell pulls back the covers on the sinister perversions and schemes of the twisted twosome. Levine knows his subject well.

“Virginia gave the other women strength, but she paid a heavy price,” Levine said. “Many of the women were from troubled homes, and Maxwell had a good eye for them.”

Giuffre (nee Roberts) may have been a particularly appealing target for Ghislaine Maxwell.

“She had a terrible background. She was sexually assaulted by a family friend when she was 7, then ran away and ended up in foster care,” Levine said. “When she was 12, she fell into the hands of notorious Miami sex trafficker Ron Eppinger.”

Giuffre became addicted to drugs before getting clean and landing a job as a towel girl at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Her dream was to become a masseuse. Disgraced socialite Maxwell spotted her reading a book on massage.

Epstein and Maxwell’s Palm Beach abode was about one mile from the resort. And Giuffre’s unsuspecting father dropped the 16-year-old into their clutches.

“She gave Epstein his massage and was forced to perform oral sex on him while Maxwell watched,” Levine said, adding that Giuffre may have thought a connection to the billionaire could lead to a better life.

What followed was forced sex with Epstein, Maxwell, and his coterie of high-flying, like-minded pervert pals. Sometimes there were orgies, threesomes (with Epstein and Maxwell), and kinky BDSM encounters.

“In that situation, there was no thinking with a clear mind. It was stomach-churning. She was forced to have sex with Epstein, sometimes up to eight times a day,” Levine said.

One of Epstein and Maxwell’s best friends was Prince Andrew, whom Giuffre claimed had sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was underage. Andrew denied the allegations but coughed up an estimated $20-million settlement to Giuffre.

Epstein and Maxwell were Giuffre’s life for two years, when she frequently travelled to global hot spots with the demented duo. And in capitals like London and Paris, the pair offered the teen up to wealthy men.

“To survive that took remarkable fortitude,” Levine said.

Giuffre met an Aussie martial arts instructor in Thailand, and she pounced at the opportunity to escape Epstein and Maxwell’s clutches.

“She finally found some level of peace, but eventually, Epstein and Maxwell caught up with her. There was one lawsuit after another. She won against Epstein, Maxwell and Prince Andrew. Virginia was victorious, but there was a price,” Levine said.

“She was the inspiration for dozens of girls,” he added. “It’s an absolute tragedy. Forty-one is a very young age to die. In the end, I think she would rather have had no part of any of it, just for her peace and sanity.”

Epstein killed himself in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison three years later.

But Giuffre could never shake her past.

“She was fearful she would be murdered, with Maxwell leaving threatening messages. She never escaped the feeling that there were forces that were going to have her killed. That’s extremely difficult to live with,” Levine added.

“She must have been in so much pain, but I never thought she would take over life.”

Virginia Giuffre's lawyer questions whether death was suicide

The lawyer for Virginia Giuffre is questioning whether the sex abuse victim died by suicide at her Australian home last week.

Police were called to Giuffre’s remote farmhouse north of Perth on Friday and found her unresponsive.

Her family released a statement that said the 41-year-old mother of three died by suicide.

However, lawyer Karrie Louden said there are “big question marks” about the manner of her death.

“There’s suicide and then there’s misadventure,” she told Britain’s the Sun.

Louden said she was one of the first people to arrive at Giuffre’s home when news broke of her passing.

“I didn’t see her in the room,” she said. “I wasn’t in there. The family said what the family has said but I’m not going to speculate whether it was suicide or accidental.”

Louden pointed out that Giuffre was hospitalized with renal failure following a crash between her vehicle and a bus in late March.

Giuffre shared a photo of herself to social media that showed her resting in hospital with bruises on her face.

However, police described the incident as a “minor” crash and didn’t have any reports of serious injuries.

“Has she just taken too many painkillers? Was she intentionally doing it? I just, you know …,” Louden said. “I don’t even know what the cause of death was.”

Giuffre alleged she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew on three occasions and trafficked by child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein beginning when she was 16.

Despite Prince Andrew’s denials, the British royal paid her a $22 million settlement but acknowledged that she suffered as a victim of abuse. He was also stripped of his royal duties by the late Queen Elizabeth and is no longer allowed to use “his royal highness.”

Louden, who began representing Giuffre in January, said there were no signs that she wanted to take her life.

“She was in a lot of pain but she was looking forward to things in the future,” she said.

“She wanted to renovate this house and all sorts of things like that. There were plans that she had for the future.”

The lawyer said she was at the home about a week ago to sort out some legal affairs.

“This has been a complete shock to all of us,” Louden said. “If any of us had thought she’s going to commit suicide, of course we would have taken more steps, put her into a clinic or got her some more help.”
