Standard Leftie Response:
Ahhh, he was coerced... Yeah, torture, sure.... And, and then they made him stay in Gitmo.... An, an they wouldn't give his favorite version of the Qur'an that had the pop-up pictures... And, they forced him to eat PB and jelly sammiches without the crusts cut off....
Ever here of Sean Baker? Militrary Police, from Kentucky. Ordered to play a prisoner who wouldn't come out of his cell in Guantanamo Bay. Anyways the good ol' boys on the extraction team didn't know Baker was one of them. They beat him so badly he suffered major seizures and eventually had to be medically discharged from the military. The training tape of the video disappeared.
Also the Red Cross reported torture at Guantanamo Bay.
As far as I can tell, you and Boomer just want to make people suffer because you hate them so much. People consumed by hatred are a strategic and tactical liability. They don't think rationally. Again, I'm sure both you and Boomer fully supported Abu Ghraib, but, strategically, this was a major blunder for the US.
So call me a Muslim sympathizer all you like, if that makes you
feel better. Because that's what you and Boomer do--feel, as opposed to think. Which really means you should stay in the sandbox and leave the tough issues to the grown-ups.
Do you have proof that his admission was extracted under torture.
Could you standup in court and say without a doubt that this terrorist was tortured to confess his criminal act.. unless YOU were there.. it's speculation.
But his admission of guilt is not speculation.. 2 thing you can't take back are the bullets out of your gun and the words out of your mouth.
The words I said were that I don't know what happened and neither do you. I stand by that.
I still fail to see why torturing him to death will further the issue, even if his confession is legit.
