From what I can gather it's not 100% certain he killed anyone. And if he did he's served 12 years- longer than any other juvenile has served for even 1st degree murder. Anyone who has spent time in Guantanamo is brained anyway.

I don't know why or who he killed. Neither do you. I think he should stand trial the same way anybody else charged with a crime stands trial. If he's guilty he should do his time, the same as anyone else does his time. As it is, he's effectively removed as a terrorist threat. Stringing him up by his nuts and using him as a pinata is pointless. Worse than pointless--it would simply provide a recruiting video for the other side, for mno other purpose than to suit your "two minutes hate."
Look at Abu Ghraib. But Abu Ghraib really didn't do our side any favours.

Not much in the way of physical evidence was presented, as I understand it. So I'm sticking with "don't know what happened." Regardless, if the Canadian system accepts the verdict of the US tribunal, then by all means lock him up.
I still fail to see how torturing him to death, as you advocate, will do anything to help the situation.

Confessions are not reliable if they are extracted under torture. There is ample evidence of torture at Gitmo.

Ever here of Sean Baker? Militrary Police, from Kentucky. Ordered to play a prisoner who wouldn't come out of his cell in Guantanamo Bay. Anyways the good ol' boys on the extraction team didn't know Baker was one of them. They beat him so badly he suffered major seizures and eventually had to be medically discharged from the military. The training tape of the video disappeared.
Also the Red Cross reported torture at Guantanamo Bay.
As far as I can tell, you and Boomer just want to make people suffer because you hate them so much. People consumed by hatred are a strategic and tactical liability. They don't think rationally. Again, I'm sure both you and Boomer fully supported Abu Ghraib, but, strategically, this was a major blunder for the US.

No I do not agree with Abu Ghraib or torture..
However, this guy was in Canada and still admitting to his guilt, not under duress or torture.
Toss him in prison and forget about him..
However, if they let in free and he commits more terrorism, he will be used as a political pawn to keep Gitmo open.
