Now it's done for them. Thank goodness. No being drug through court. No being put through appeals hearings, parole hearings, and the like. Just, done.

Wonder what he used to hang himself. Usually they take away belt and shoe laces but I guess where there's a will, there's a way. A strip of cloth torn from a shirt.....even a sock might be made to work. I have a friend who was a prison guard for a few years. He has some weird stories to tell.

they said he was on a 30 minute check, but not on suicide watch.

i feel sorry for the child he fathered, as that child has to live with the memories/stories
about the father, and the mom has to work thru all of her past experiences, what a shame, as
now he, who caused all of it, is the only one free of those thoughts, too bad he couldn't take their thoughts with him, and leave them free too.
Well, at least they are alive, and they do have a future, he doesn't, thats good.

I kind of think perhaps the guards weren't all that vigilant in keeping him alive.

it will never been done for them. they will spend the rest of their lives dealing with the aftermath of the rapes/torture. :(

Suicide is a chicken way out, but the guy couldn't have been all there. No not nuts
just bad and fate gave him what he deserved. Don't feel a bit sorry for him either.

Surprising. Didnt he due a plea deal to avoid the death penalty? Odd to do that then commit suicide a month or so in. Then again this guy rarely did anything that made sense.

I wish he had waited until he had served 10 years , then if he offed himself I wouldn't care. This way he is not only a monster but a coward!

I think once it's been established a person is a monster, being a coward is "small potatoes". But we should be relieved that he still has a thousand years to serve, if some corrupt lawyer doesn't get it reduced to 500. -:)

Maybe the "clock" was a sun dial and I don't think they work too well after dark.-:)
