First, nobody who does not hate Bush 'worship at his feet'. At least not nearly as much those who adore 0bama, worship at his.

Second, would you and your fellow Bush detractors be happier if he had jumped up in panic, rather than handle the bad news with quiet dignity, the way he did?

Third, not to minimize, but your number of victims is enhanced by your prejudice.

Could not resist this:

Oops! Obama messes up his daughter?s age - TODAY People - TODAY.com

I think you missed my point, but your fanboy did, too.

Posting a simplistic collection of stupidity and passing it off as something useful is no better, and no worse, when the subject is Obama or Bush. Simplistic stupidity is just that, as you have confirmed with your analysis above. It's just that when someone uses simplistic stupidity to criticize Obama, you get all orgasmically happy, and when they do so to criticize Bush, you go all offended.

You don't seem to understand that Obama and Bush are not different from each other.

Sorry, I thought the whole point was to post some random pointless simplistic criticism of a President for something that is complex, and treat it like a simple yes or no question that was answered incorrectly. Isn't that what the previous post was?

Sorry also. To many people actually still blame Bush for finishing his visit at the school before taking immediate control of the situation.

Although it does not reach the point of 'worship', my admiration Lech Walesa is only exceeded by my admiration for Pope John Paul II. Many more follows before the list reaches George W. Bush.

Whether you believe in God or don't, you do not tell a grieving veterans family that they cannot mention "God" at that veteran funeral. Arleen Ocasio was recently selected as director of the Houston VA National Cemetery. President Obama has let this First Amendment fringment to go on to long without saying anything, so I agree that he is just a old style Leftist Strong Man and will lose in 2012.

The VFW District 4, American Legion Post 586, National Memorial Ladies Join Lawsuit Against VA and Director of Houston National Cemetery for Religious Hostility
HOUSTON, June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Liberty Institute, on behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars District 4, The American Legion Post 586, and the National Memorial Ladies, returned to federal court with new allegations of religious hostility and unlawful censorship by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and its director of the Houston National Cemetery. Last month, Liberty Institute successfully represented Houston pastor Scott Rainey in the same federal court after Houston VA officials tried to prevent him from praying in Jesus' name at a Memorial Day ceremony.
"The hostile and discriminatory actions by the Veterans Affairs officials in Houston are outrageous, unconstitutional and must stop," said Jeff Mateer, Esq., general counsel of Liberty Institute. "Government officials who engage in religious discrimination against citizens are breaking the law. Sadly, this seems to be a pattern of behavior at the Houston VA National Cemetery."
Today, Liberty Institute amended its original lawsuit that states the Department of Veterans Affairs and its Director of the Houston National Cemetery, Arleen Ocasio, are engaging in religious viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, by adding new incidents of religious hostility including:
VA Forbids Mention of God at Funerals for Veterans and Requires Families to Submit Prayer for Approval to the Government: For 30 years, the VFW District 4 burial team, at the request of the family of the deceased, has honored veterans by performing the VFW burial ritual during private burial services at the Houston National Cemetery. For 20 years, The American Legion Post 586 has honored our veterans by performing its burial ritual for fallen veterans. On at least four separate occasions, government officials told the burial teams that prayer and religious speech could no longer be included in the burial ritual unless the family submits a specific prayer or message in writing to Director Ocasio for her approval. Government official Jose Henriquez also told the VFW Honor Guard Commander, Junior Vice Commander and Chaplain that the word "God" is forbidden.
VA instructs the VFW and a Private Funeral Home that they may not present the option of prayer to families: American Heritage Funeral Home, which sits next to the Houston National Cemetery and specializes in veterans' funerals, was instructed by government officials that the funeral home may not inform the families that they have the option of requesting prayer in the VFW burial ritual.
VA Tells Volunteers to Remove "God Bless" from Condolence Cards to Grieving Families: About a year ago, Director Ocasio instructed the president of the National Memorial Ladies that the words "God" and "Jesus" are forbidden and that "God Bless" could no longer be written in condolence cards to families. Volunteers also were banned from speaking a religious message when talking directly to veterans' families on cemetery grounds.
VA Closes Cemetery Chapel; Uses it for Storage: The chapel where families used to gather, pray and reflect has been closed and is now called a "meeting facility" and used for storage. The chapel cross and Bible have been removed and the bells that once used to chime are no longer used.
"On March 15, Director Ocasio told me that I couldn't say 'May God grant you grace, mercy and peace' to grieving families," said Nobleton Jones, Honor Guard Junior Vice Commander. "Today we ask the government to make it right."
"All we wanted was to give honor to fallen soldiers," said Inge Conley, incoming VFW District 4 Commander.

Today's hearing took place before Federal District Judge Lynn N. Hughes who had granted the original temporary restraining order preventing the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from censoring Pastor Rainey's prayer in May. Judge Hughes gave the government until July 15 to respond to the new allegations and set a status hearing for July 21.
Liberty Institute works to uphold First Amendment freedoms in the courts, legislature and public square.

''I bet you cannot even answer that... and won't.''

Make yourself clear - I condemned his welfare gifts to the corporations. Why didn't you at least credit me for that??

Obama knew exactly what he was getting in to and was elected on a platform that proposed solutions. Deflecting the focus back onto the GOP or Bush or whatever goes no where in addressing the present situation.

But that's what the Republicans here are doing when they blame Clinton when he left Bush a $5 trillion dollar surplus and 25 million jobs.

As for Obama I specifically said that he needs to call in the $20 trillion stashed overseas in tax free accounts and that this will end the recession. I repeated this several times if you right wingers only bothered to read my posts. Unfortunately for Obama (and I have said this before enough times) is that he is employing Republican ''solutions'' to the mess created by Republicans. This is why his administration is going nowhere.

Obama needs to employ Democratic solutions as did FDR, Kennedy, and Clinton. That is what is going to solve the mess. How many more times must I tell you this???

Many Americans see Obama as an old style Leftist Strong Man like Juan Peron or Hugo Chavez.

Even more Americans and internationals viewed Bush as Hitler or Mussolini. But when anyone dared to say it they got rocks thrown at them.

Obama has a record to run on. Does anyone think Obama has unified the American people as he promised? How's the American economy doing? How's the Dollar doing? What about the 9.1% official unemployment rate? America is imploding. America is dying. Any questions?

Maybe he should have been a student of diplomacy and espionage so that he could have learned about the warning signs of WMD.

;)

Maybe. :)

Get over it Gopher. Clinton is long gone, as is Bush... Pinning for the good ole days is still a deflection from the effectiveness of the current administration.

As for confiscating the overseas monies, good luck with that. I suppose that you can give it a try but don't come whining when the corp entities and high net worth people flee your nation for fear that they will be vilified for the heinous crime of succeeding in life.

I was crystal clear. You need to keep up.

Even more Americans and internationals viewed Bush as Hitler or Mussolini.

So so true. You are for once correct.

Now that is considered "hate speech" by the liberals when it is tossed at Obama.

US Liberals can be the biggest hypocrites at times.

Embellishing a little bit? I'd say you were.

Health care? I think the medicare was the problem with the health care system in US. It gave many lives for many. So, the total cost of government, military and social, everything except for health care consumes 7.7% of the GDP. Meanwhile, health care, public and private, consumes 16%. Health care costs more than twice as much as the entire federal budget.

Yes it does and why? Most of the problem with healthcare is the paper work required by the government to support it. I know it is easy for people to blame Doctors, but they are told what to charge by the government and are under contract not to charge the patient more than the Medicare and Tricare insurance will pay. (Federal Health Insurance)

I want Obama to get us out of another European problem.

I found this on another Forum. It was submitted by a regular American. The topic was Michele Bachmann.

"I happen to reject your premise. First, JQA was most definitely a founding father.

Just because he wasn’t a signer of the Declaration of Independence, it doesn’t disqualify him from being a founder, nor for that matter would it Alexander Hamilton who was ony 19 and wasn’t a signer either.

By founding father, we mean a citizen who was a significant participant in the broader founding of the United States–which frequently includes the period through the 1800 election. John Quincy Adams certainly qualifies for that. He was probably among the most 300 significant men of the founding, and I think most reasonable thinking rational Americans would agree with that- though ultimately its just splitting hairs over the broader point, which is the only reason I can see for not including JQA as a founder would be to keep intact the all-founders-were-racist-slave-owners narrative. By doing that, your premise that America was founded as unjust country remains whole and you eliminate JQA as an outlier. Plus, you get to discredit Bachmann, which is icing on the cake.

Secondly, The Palin-Paul Revere thing has been gone over ad nauseum. There actually is some historians who say Palin’s account actually happened- so by ignoring that you are either ignorant or you willfully omitted that, which shows your bias.

But if you really truly are offended about Palin speaking extemporaneously about history and getting it wrong, you must no doubt be REALLY offended that Obama said there were 57 states. There is no way you can say Obama’s isn’t significant if you want to rake Palin over the coals at the same time.

I am willing to chalk all true misspeaks up as non issues, but the more you want to put importance on gaffes, the more scrutiny you unwittingly invite to Obama’s blunders as well.

The problem is that the difference not just in coverage but in the TONE of the coverage glaring when it comes to Obama’s slipups.

From the corpsman mispronunciation, the Cambridge police acting “stupidly”, proudly and specifically stating he gave the medal of honor to a living recipient for the first time when it was in fact given posthumously, saying there are 57 states, saying there is an “Austrian” language, the real difference, regardless of their varying degrees of importance, is that they are all treated as non stories with the media and the same people who have the knives out for Palin and Bachmann. They give Obama a pass, because he HAS to be smart right?

But how can someone so smart mess up so often? This is a question you should be asking yourself.

My favorite Obama flub quote might be this:

“The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries.” –Tampa, Fla., Jan. 28, 2010

Now only a man of supreme intellect can come up with a line like that!

This meaningless utterance sums him up. Obama is devoid of knowledge or experience, yet his words, the suit, the speeches all look the part- and so you lap it up without any scrutiny.

What the president says matters. This is what Breitbart is right to point out: and the real problem is, Obama is just WAY more important than Palin or Bachmann yet gets none of the scrutiny."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I guess that explains why the forum right wingers keep coming up with threads like this:

It is has been reported that today the wealth gap is greater than at any time since the 1920s. It was that gap that caused the Great Depression and today's Great Recession. Simply use the same strategy to take back the wealth that has been stolen and the USA will be fine again.

By in large, contributions like the above are a reaction to your incessant and perpetual whining.

It is has been reported that today the wealth gap is greater than at any time since the 1920s.

So what?

It was that gap that caused the Great Depression and today's Great Recession. Simply use the same strategy to take back the wealth that has been stolen and the USA will be fine again.
