Opinion of Obama hasn't changed, he had nothing to do with taking out Bin Laden, he was just an observer to an event he had no control over. We get everybody eventually, there is no hiding from the wrath of the American people.

Jokes aside, Obama's a disappointing president, but still the best choice right now.

I think I have made my views of Obama fairly obvious over the years.

However, I give the President the highest marks for:

1. Following Bush's policies in the prosecution of War in Terror.
2. Giving the order when all the right conditions were confirmed.
3. Notifying former President Bush first.
4. Closing his speech with the words from the Pledge of Allegiance.

It's true, he wouldn't have made the vote if he didn't pander to people like you.

So when you guys are done with him, we could use a new leader up here and he could take his choice of parties too.

Excellent!!!

While Republican presidential hopefulls are running around encouraging other bat**** crazy people like them to go out and shoot Liberals(Sarah Palin), or making idiotic claims that Obama is the biggest PEACETIME spending President(hey, Mitt there's over 150,000 US troops serving in three conflicts right now, how does that qualify as peacetime?), or making bizarre claims about some great conspiracy around Obama's place of birth, the REAL President is getting the job done. Trump may be honored that Obama finally released his long-form birth certificate, but his claims of astounding facts being turned up by his investigators fell kind of flat...we already knew that Obama was born in Hawaii. Now according to Trump there's something sinister about Obama's grades, it could go all the way back to kindergarten when Obama only faked napping when all the other good kids were asleep, stay tuned Trump should have more amusing reality TV style entertainment on tap for us. Not that Obama isn't above throwing a little back Trump's way like he did the other night.

Obama isn't perfect but he's far above the level of the high functioning morons, racist religious nutjobs and narcissistic megalomaniacs that now populate the upper level of the Republican party.

Way to go Mr. President in taking out one of America worst enemies and completing a job the last administration was too busy cheating the country out of billions to complete. You make me proud to be an American.

The way he and his administration handled the Bin Laden takeout was incredible. No stone left unturned. Not bad for a 'weak and indecisive community organizer' eh?

Well, it is his victory as he is in charge. I am glad for what he did in this case. I am glad he chose the ground assault so Osama could feel the lead thump home. I am glad it was a kill mission. I am glad he dumped the body in the sea before his minions could get over the shock and try to pressure the US to give up his bullet ridden corpse. I am glad his body is being feasted on by the creatures of the deep.

So yeah, the Community Organizer did very well. Afterall, he is from Chicago.

No spin and unnamed sources telling us about "credible" threats, just a focused and disciplined program to get the target.

Even a blind pig can find an acorn.
Even a stupid farmer can grow big potatoes.

What does that make the two jokers from the last administration who didn't even get the country to attack right. If America had had somebody who actually knew what the hell they were doing in 2001 Bin Laden would have been laid to rest years ago and the country wouldn't be broke and deeply divided.

Far from being blind and stupid Obama knew what he wanted to do and carried it out, there were many things that could have gone wrong, think of Carter trying to get the hostages out of Tehran. Obama isn't letting Biden drag him around on a leash like Bush did with Cheney, he's a real Commander-in-Chief.

Well we all know that Pakistan has been playing the 3 sides of a coin. What the repercussion will be will play of over the years.

Interesting article you may wish to read.

I see a man who is really trying to be an effective President. He followed a bad act and and he has had a lot of cleaning up to do. BUT.. in the US every one who wants to be negative is coming out of the wood work to criticize his actions. This is all new to him. He is NOT and insider and to me that is really good. I notice that many of the old time insiders who think they own the Congress are running low right now. The old motto for them is. "If in trouble, run silent and run deep." I'm impressed with his dedication and hard work. He has a sense of feeling and can really identify with us working class people. His wife is a gem. She too has good ideas and is very people oriented. I think he knows we were swindled and is trying to unravel the facts in spite of the attempts by those who were involved (Paulson, Bernanke, Snow, AGE, GM and others)to hide every thing they can. If given the time and support I think he'll get to the bottom of that too. Wall Street is shaking in their boots right now. GOOD ON HIM as an Ausssie would say!
