Obama care and the Stimulus - I take it that you are not for that?

Stimulus was Bush....not Obama.

The only thing Obama did was pass a toothless bill for healthcare reforms that really don't do a lot of anything.

Taxes are always used as the fear factor and taxes are lower than they have been since Reagan.

So, Goober, why can it not be "Yes & aslo No on a couple of issues" for Sarah Palin?

And let us not forget that all the issues you might put in the "no" category, she could and WOULD learn in the next two years, unlike Obama, who never learned anything past the pay-grade of a communist agitator... ooops... a community organizer.

And why I referred to him by his middle name? Read anything you want into that.

Did you by chance read the articles and comments by the staff that was to bring Sarah up to par on Foreign Policy, economics, abortion, various leaders of a number of countries and US Policy with each one.

They stated it was hopeless - She had little interest.

She was and is a disaster. But that is my Informed opinion.

Grasping at (very weak) straws, to denograte him, which kind of puts your credibility in question because if there was anything stronger, I'm sure you'd use it.:lol:

Do you think all Americans should be covered by a medical plan - as we know people get sick, no insurance and they lose everything - Every modern economy in the world has coverage for all their citizens - Excepting the US.

Various forms - from Canada's taxpayer funded but will have to change - to Europe where they have Govt / Private care plans.

She would probably make a very good vice president- she has at least one ability Cheney doesn't have.

Apparently all the people in dire need of medical insurance in the U.S. have it.

Not totally sure that is/was true. We do have Medicare and Medicaid, plus supplemental insurances for those who can afford it. If you can't, it comes out of taxes. Is there any other country where a illegal can show up to a hospital for medical care for themselves and children? Contrary to all the anti U.S. chat going around, they are not automatically deported unless they are wanted for something, and before Homeland Security nothing was done. We never left people without medical care, somehow it was always provided.

Well they can show in Canada and get it all covered

Do not people in the US go into bankruptcy because of the system where they fall thru the crack between Medicade / Taxpayer

Also one important pint - The US has the highest cost for medical care and drugs in the western world - That show who is making the money and it ain't the taxpayer.

Yeah. Ain't capitalism great?

Anyway, Obama's done a couple good things, a couple dumb things. But all of them do that. I'm not impressed enough to see where he deserved the Nobel. It'd be like giving Bush a humanitarian of the year award. HUH?

"Does Sarah has the ability & knowledge to be President??"

Does Hussain?

Any reason you used his middle name?

Do the other two not sound black or muslimish enough for you?

Yet you rank 37th in health care delivery and first in cost.

Not a very good business model.

We also have the highest use of non generic drugs. Contrary to popular belief generic drugs are not always as good as the original. The U.S. has more companies or is involved turning out more cures period than other countries. Canada is a major source of cheaper generic drugs, no question about it. (Japan used to turn out cheaper toys also.) Want to compare cure or remission for 5 years or more for cancer? (Just one for example) I would prefer to pay more for a better chance of survival. (better doctors, pretty much a better medical system)

My understanding is the generic drugs have exactly the same chemical make up as the brand name drugs and the brand name drugs are just a ripoff. Let's hear from a pharmacist just what the truth is so we can put this one to sleep.
