You're not buying either? I guess you clowns haven't gotten your talking points yet. The pundits haven't been on TV declaring this a surrender to the great communist Satan yet? Man, what's taking them so long?

This must be hard for the clown patrol. I said this was a Cold War defeat for the United States. The normal response should be "Defeat!?! NEVER! USA! USA! USA!" which is what I got. But I think the clowns forgot there's a Democratic president, and the narrative is that he's a weak-kneed socialist Muslim homosexual momjeans surrender monkey. You know you can agree with me for your moronic reasons and still meet your clown quota for the day.

Awww... Did I hurt your little feelers by recognizing the glaring fallacy in your comments?.... Sorry about that.

That said, doubling-down with the feigned outrage simply confirms that the 'clown' moniker that you throw towards others in fact belongs squarely on you

Oddly enough... the ones that it DOES make happy will soon see their private Canadian paradise evaporate within a year. The closest thing they had to a Canadian tropical climate will soon vanish in a blink.

Didn't make any difference in the Turks and Caicos, why would it change things in Cuba?

Female Canadian tourists in Cuba won't be able to leave their hotel rooms without the threat of Yankee running down their legs.

By 'Yankee' (running down their legs), are you referring to pubic hair?... We have a lot of furry women originating outta Quebec and the various eco-communities.

I mean that it was mostly Canadian with regards to Cuba tourism. Us Yanks aren't allowed to go to Cuba except under special conditions.

Like Wall-E and Nug's boy said..... Now the Yanks are going to be able to go to Cuba and Cuba was the only place we could get away from the Yanks.

They never went to Cuba just to get away from the Yanks.........................But it was a nice bonus :happy5:

Due to a job change, they won't be going this year anyhoo.
Think there will be room when they return. ?

Oh I get that. You and I have been in this forum long enough though that we heard that... No Yanks in Cuba. I mean it was here in CanCon that I learned that some Cannucks chose Cuba for that reason alone. Not all but there were a few. You must remember those days. :)

Well... they are numbered I think. The Yanks are going to swarm that island when we get the word. I can't wait to go!

And as it appears some are having fun with it saying (for some odd reason)

Cuba won! Yeah! Suck it Yank!

Then... as Nuggs and Waldo said....

"Ah... guys... that means Americans will be able to go to Cuba soon. The only place in the world we Canadians can go to be away from Americans is gone. They will swarm the beaches and buy up every room and the prices will skyrocket."

I never said that. I never said anything actually. I said my son said that he would be sorry if (this a year or two ago) if the Americans would be allowed to come.
Personally, I don't give a sh!t. Only place I've been is Nassau, and that was many years ago. It was tacky and expensive, and the only place for good music was in the "over the hill" district.

Dayo Dayo , etc.

Jeez guy; if yer gonna quote, quote kerrectly SVP (French for if you please).............

Yeah, but not as much as they were.

I'm going to start a tour for Yanquis of Cuba to visit resorts frequented by Canadian women. It's going to be a vacation with all you can eat dining included.

You're too late. Friend of mine runs tours of Cuba out of Vancouver BC................Makes a pile of money. He will probably just move his business a bit south............Married a Cuban gal and she is HOT !! HOTHOTHOTHOT !!

I was only yanking your chain on the T&Cs.... More to twist the knife in BL's side.

As far as Americans and Cuba are concerned, one of my friends who visits there had stated that Americans can, and do vacation in Cuba, but have to do so in a round-about manner like fly to Mexico and then take an independent flight to Cuba.... Something about not having their passport stamped by Cuban authorities (and when I've gone, I get an insert from the Cuban Customs group that is temporary - read: not a permanent mark in my passport).

As far as Americans go, I understand that there is no prohibition by the Cuban gvt to enter, but is not allowed (to be caught) by the US authorities

Anywho, I don't know this for fact, just repeating something I heard

in other words, terrible, ruinous exploitation.

That all sounds right. You have to do it in a round about way. A woman I work with went to Cuba but she tagged along with some official aid group. So you have to really work at it... like go through Mexico or Canada and be careful not to get caught. So that is why there aren't many that go there.

But when the travel ban is lifted it will be a quick ferry launch from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

8OEagle, you're going to put your back out stirring that pot.....................

Who me Nugs!? Me?

Nice article Che Gore!

I shall pick out my favorite parts and share!

"Right now we come to Cuba and .. things are pretty much as they were," Dugald Wells, chief executive officer of Cuba Cruise said from Toronto. More travel "is going to result in building and investment and modernization. Really, it's the lack of those things that make Cuba something very special today."

Oh well! Moving on...

"Canadians are the island's largest source of tourists, representing about 40 percent of all visitors to Cuba. Dozens of direct flights leave from Canadian cities each week to the island."

Oh that will change within the year that tourism opens up for a Yanqui Dogs. Oh and soon the Canadians will be able to catch cheaper flights to Cuba from airports in the US.

"But others, she says, won't be thrilled to share the sand with their neighbors to the south."

Like the stars baby... like the stars.

"When you go down there, it's a Cuban culture. When you go to Mexico, you're finding the ... things you find in the U.S," Anderson said

There won't be any trade or dropping of travel restrictions for quite sometime.

That is true.

Even with all the fanfare and yelling... the embargo is still in place. Obama is just saying that he'd like to talk. It's just Obama bowing to the Castro's but in the end... it is Congress who will decide.

I would like the travel restriction lifted. Gosh I want to see it all go down. I really do. AND I want to go to Cuba!

But Pete is right folks. Cuba is safe from the Yanqui Dogs for the time being. Get there while you can.

Go through Toronto like other Americans. I enjoyed it except for that crap Soviet air conditioner in our cabana.
