- Good morning boys and, of course, Valerie.

- By now you all know about the devastation and misery caused by Hurricane Sandy with at least 16 people killed and over five million people without power and at least 100 billion dollars of flood, wind and fire damage and another 100 billion dollars and more lost from shutting down much of our economy on the Eastern Seaboard for up to three days - and the thing is still not done.

- So given the destruction and misery Sandy has caused, I am sure that all of you are wrestling with the same vital question that I am. This question, naturally, is how can we leverage the suffering and misery being endured by so many others to our advantage in next week`s election, reversing Romney`s momentum and thereby riding back into power.

- And the good news is that if we handle this right we can use Sandy as our October surprise, our Hail Mary TD pass back into the White House the same way that I was able to leverage the suffering in inner city Chicago to my advantage as a community organizer from the time I unpacked my carpet bag in The Windy City 20 years ago and ultimately right up into the presidency.

- All we have to do, folks, is to adapt our Chicago-perfected, long standing, winning 3-D Strategy to take full advantage of Hurricane Sandy.

- So lets creatively apply our 3-D Strategy of Demonizing the enemy, Diverting attention away from my qualifications, promises and record and, Distorting my role in hot button issues and moments that engender an emotional response from the average American.

- Lets start by demonizing Romney based on his remark yesterday that the states are primarily responsible for disaster relief and are best able to determine the relief needs and deliver relief services to their own people. Now this is an entirely correct statement persuant to the US Constitution and to common sense management. The federal government role is supposed to be a supporting role to the state governors, providing such financial and manpower and equipment and supplies relief as requested by the governors. But my average supporter cannot even spell Constitution let alone understand the division of powers under the constitution, like me has never run anything but his mouth, and also has been conditioned to expect all things to come down from on high in Washington.

- So lets misrepresent Mitt`s remark to say that he opposed any federal aid and assistance including financial assistance and that it was a waste of time and money and that under a Romney government an uncaring Washington would leave disaster victims to fend for themselves. I remember using this lie against Bush in 2007 at a black ministers`conference and it went over very well. I`m sure we can get some of our more moronic supporters to parrot this line and some of our MSM surrogates to do the same! And lets further demonize Romney on Sandy by reminding those poor suffering people who in some cases have lost everything just how rich and comfortable and priveleged Romney really is. This storm is an excellent context to re-energize our strategy of class warfare with Romney representing the rich and the many victims of Sandy representing the poor!

- Secondly, we diverty attention from the numerous failures of my administration by claiming that we are just too focused on and dedicated to and busy working on the federal relief plan (OK, we have no plan but pretend we do to make this more credible) to effectively and efficiently provide disaster relief in all its forms to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy and so we will not allow ourselves to be deflected from this caring and vital mission by any time wasting discussions of crass political matters. So until we have completed our rescue, relief and rejuvenation plan for the people and places in the path of Hurricane Sandy, which`purely coincidentally will be about a day after next week`s election, we shall not have time to answer any questions on political matters like the Libya cover-up or the weak economy or the pending double dip recession when we hit the fiscal cliff at year end. I`m sure our good friends who dominate the MSM will continue to play ball on this until after the election. And we can also claim that the October month end employment rate data due out this Friday could not be compiled in time due to logistical problems connected with Sandy. Yes, I know we already have the necessary data and that it shows the unemployment rate is back up over 8% but Sandy enables us to cover this up until after the vote.

- The third and final element of our 3-D Strategy, as you know, is to distort my role in riding to the rescue in terms of disaster relief for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Never underestimate the great political value of putting a positive spin on a president`s role in regard to hot button issues and events that will seize the public mind and strengthen support for the president. For example, the locating and capturing and killing of Osama bin Laden has been a boon in terms of my foreign policy credibility and political support. Yes, this mission to bring OBL to justice had been going on for nearly ten years and was a joint effort of dedicated and trained intelligence and security and military personnel and was only possible through the agencies restructuring and enabling legislation crafted under Bush. And yes, OBL would never have even been located without the information obtained by waterboarding during the Bush years and had I been president we`d never have secured this information because I oppose waterboarding. And yes, all I had to actually due was to give the go ahead to the SEALS strike on OBL`s compound and no president would have been stupid or politically inept enough not to have given this go ahead. So I actually did nothing that any other president would not also have done but we managed to distort the story so much that I wound up getting all the credit for this. I even read a comment the other day from some online moron that the fact that OBL was captured and killed on my watch was a sufficient reason to re-elect me to a second term. So, gang, lets apply our, err, creativity to make it seem like I am The Great White Father (so to speak) riding to the rescue of the governors and the mayors and the millions of people and the institutions and structures impacted disasterously by Hurricane Sandy.

- Already, I have neutralized New Jersey governor Chris Christie who had been a devastatingly effective campaigner for Romney but now is working on disaster relief for his state 24-7 and this morning on Fox complimented me for supporting his efforts to bring relief to his people who are the hardest hit of all Americans. Yesterday, I called Christie not once but three times and offered him billions of dollars with no strings attached and the promise of even more if he only, err, plays ball until after the election. And if there is one thing that I really am good at it is spending billions, even trillions of dollars of other peoples money with no strings attached and no lasting results expected. And I count on you folks to now get out there and spin the story of how I am working tirelessly to implement our disaster relief plan, leaving no stone unturned, totally devoted to the mission, yadda, yadda, yadda.

- Hurricane Sandy will turn this election back in our favour if we just get out there and really milk it for all it is worth .

- Remember, people, its an ill wind that blows no good and while Romney has the Mormons we have the Morons and Sandy will help us to manipulate them into voting for us early and often.

Congratulations teddy. You've reached a new low. It is never a good idea to assume that everyone lives
in the same gutter as you do.

- Krauthammer castigates BO for playing at being president to impress the morons about Sandy while refusing to act as president during the seven hours that US personnel were under terrorist attack in Benghazi:

Playing President: Krauthammer slams Obama for Hurricane Sandy photo-op but no Benghazi photo-op » The Right Scoop -

It explains a lot about you that your preferred sources are "the Right Scoop" and "Faux News".

-With the vote only a few days away, we have to redouble our efforts, posting things that we are outraged by.

-Look for any and all partisan sources who make things up, or spout outrage and venom over some issue (real or perceived).

-Post on forums, and insult those who disagree.

-NOTE, this is important, and should be done no matter where you sit on the political spectrum.

- TenPenny ... You're a really good and original and humorous and profound writer! No wonder you are always chastising me about my poor writing skills which stand out invidiously in comparison to your sterling mastery of the written word. Perhaps if in my formative years as an abecedarian I'd had the benefits of instruction from a competent epistemologist I would now be able to elucidate the esoteric terminology inherent in your every disquisition and be able to raise my skills to the high bar which you have so obviously set.

- Your criticisms are invaluable to me and your thought provoking missives on political matters are worth every penny in your board name, perhaps even a penny more.

- Keep up the great work!

We are in the last week of an American election campaign and we should expect more
rantings from the Republican Right. This conservative movement is the worst hoisted
on the people in decades. It could be a decent into madness. The real conservatives
or mainstream conservatives have been conspicuously silent and for good reason they
will have to clean up the mess after these pretenders have moved on.
I am not opposed to conservative views in many cases, but I am opposed to whack jobs
pretending to be main stream conservatives.

lol

Well at least he didn't resort to calling you asswipe, TP!

:?D

Now that's funny!

I remember my aunt saying that as a kid, she was sent out to buy groceries, and one item on there was 'TP', so, after much thinking, she came home with a Tin of Peas. That explains why she married a Progressive Conservative MP, I guess. Bless her heart.

Man what tries to pass as satire around here lately is so weak.

It reads of nothing more than excuses why the Republican Party is going to lose the election. Like a fabrication that a sick mind can cling to to feel better if this election they've invested their heart and soul and apparently entire brain to, doesn't go their way.

Clearly we are getting it from the left. Your post is a good example non?
