I think that you are being wilfully obtuse, Bear.
The irony there is staggering.

I know it because I was schooled in England and NEVER saw the behaviour you claim.
Although I've seen it first hand. I didn't claim anything, I didn't post a video to support. Which when we compare it to your unsupported claims, means, you got served.

I know it because I went to hundreds of sporting events, and participated in many hundreds, and NEVER saw the behaviour you claim.
I posted video to support my position. You can ignore them if you like, it's only at your peril.

Why do you talk of national events as a support.
Soccer games, College concerts, school concerts, are national events?

I posted videos from Britain, containing the national anthem being sung at each of those venues.
For obvious reason.
You don't get obvious, obviously.

I think he is missing the point that London and the UK are a huge tourist area, and part of the draw is the patriotism and flag waiving.

That last pic isn't patriotism, that's blind, idiotic nationalism.

Canada and the UK have those too. A lot of them rant and rave about the US.

If I posted a video of a Grizzly Bear attacking a little old lady, would that be evidence that all Grizzlies like little old ladies for lunch.

Frankly, CB, what you are concluding is pure nonsense. Flags come out for occasions and the anthem is not overworked.

Nope, but it certainly would be a whole lot better than what you've offered so far.

Frankly, CB, what you are concluding is pure nonsense.
Nonsense that has video evidence, as apposed to your unsupported nonsense.

Flags come out for occasions and the anthem is not overworked.
Says you. I've provided evidence that you are incorrect.

You've offered nothing to support your claims about the US.

Lets play your game....

Yes, they play it all the time... wearing their patriotism and nationalism on their sleeve.

I've recently come to suspect that the American penchant for waving the flag and trumpeting the superiority of the American way of life at every opportunity actually hides a deep seated sense that something is actually seriously wrong with American society. After all, if the US way of life is as vastly superior to that of all other nations as many Americans claim then it would not be necessary to broadcast the fact so often.

Milk in bags? You can get milk in bags? I haven't seen that in any store in Alberta in decades.
