teh gay was invented by the CIA and the Greeks, with a touch of ancient Rome.

A dash of Christian repression, a pinch of Caligula, and a splash of Greek Olympian sculpture, put it all in a CIA pressure cooker, wait one hour, and you'll have a warm batch of 'gay'?

Come on Eagle, the bible thumper conservatives repress any feeling that gives one pleasure, which eventually causes them to seek out release in bathroom stalls and outhouses. This has been proved on Fox News.

You didn't see Jim Baker in a stall did you?

Dems and Republicans are equally to blame for these shenanigans. If you want to talk about one who has been oppressive, look no further than Spitzner. He has made a life of destroying people and looking for dirt just like this and using it against his enemies. That is why this is such a big story.

What a great debate....maybe I will finally find out the truth about men.... they are just bulls (see Durka;-)) who look at us women as their herd of cows!!! :angryfire:

I've expected too much! I thought we would by some wonderful divineness be meant for each other, and would be delighted and happily content with each other until we die.

So, all this social ado about getting married, bride's white gown, the honeymoon, building a nest, having children.... by that time things are not what they should be anymore!:-( Much work, stress, tiredness, illness, financial stress, he takes off on his own trips, "you can't come along - you've got the children!", she becomes aware of betrayal, no love, no togetherness, alright... for the sake of the children a few more years!!!

Damn it!! Where did our love for each other go? Was it actually love? What IS love? Just a bunch of endorphines??? Has custom and religious preaching deceived us? "What God has joined together, let no man drive a-thunder!" Something like that?

Marriage is a social trap, nothing more and nothing less!!:-:)-(

"I think, women are more capable of love than a man! A man is happy and satisfied to have just sex... he doesn't need the love that comes from a woman's heart!! " Quote Dancing Loon:
..............ah, depends on the guy. I think the love and sex thing is a package. One compliments the other, no?

:read2:(nugg the sexologist)
Yes, Nugg, with that I agree! I'm sure there are a few guys out there who truly love their wives. And vice versa.

And it seems you are finding the truth about women. All women are not innocent babes in the woods. Woman can be just as unloving to their spouses and just as unfaithful.

You still are stuck on the BAD HUSBAND but GOOD WIFE aren't you? When women go away on trips with friends without husbands...and they do...or conferences do you think each and every one of them are remaining faithful? You have yet to acknowledge the fact that wives are cheating just as much on their husbands.

Damn it!! Where did our love for each other go? Was it actually love? What IS love? Just a bunch of endorphines??? Has custom and religious preaching deceived us? "What God has joined together, let no man drive a-thunder!" Something like that?

I just think that people change. I also think people fall out of love. Marriage can be a social trap if you have two people that are doing just as you described...staying together for the kids or it is financially uneconomical to get divorced. It is so easy to get married these days and so hard to get divorced, financially and emotionally. So folks stick it out at times.

But then again that is not always the case. People who are married can stay in love but they have to work at it. There is sacrifice and selfishness has to be left at the door. It does not come easy and a marriage needs work.

The US is the only nation in the word who would censor a man for this reason. Look at the US Congress member who is gay and was caught running a gay men's hooker operation out of his taxpayer paid for apartment in Washington, DC. He still is in office and probably still operating the same service but with more discretion. What they do in their off duty tim should be their own private business. After looking the current misses over I' d look elsewhere too. But then there is good old Ma Palm and the five daughters isn't there?

Do you know that prostitution is illegal? The guy is a governor and was the Attorney General of New York. He smashed all kinds of prostitution rings during his tenure and gawked about how he had the lists with some pretty important people. He lived to wreck people and wrecked quite a few lives.

I get what you mean about that congressman. He is none other than Barney Frank from the Commonewealth of Massachusetts and all of that is true. Although he claims he did not know about their being a prostitution ring being run out of his Wash D.C apartment. We also had another guy Congressman Gerry Studs who got his rocks off of 16 year old Capital Hill Page Boys. I guess it is OK if there is a certain gaiety to it all.

I think politicians should be provided with male and female manservants which they can dip into at anytime, reducing the chance of them investing in ***** firms.

They are provided with them...they're called interns. The only thing they have not mastered is how to keep them quiet.

Oops, I guess Time Magazine forgot him!

Here is a link that shows Mr. Spritzer is not the only trespassing politician:

Spitzer went to a lot of planning to make this happen. He tried coming in under the radar for the large cash transfer alert system but because he had done it enough times it made them take a closer look. This wasn't a spur of moment rendezvous.

A question for the ladies here. Do you think it makes a difference to his wife that he did this with a prostitute and not an affair?

Oh, oh, Kreskin.... got a bad conscience???;-)

It all depends on their relationship, on understanding and perhaps how much selfworth she has. If it was me, it would be over, prostitute or another dame.... I could not tolerate him near me again... I would throw up!!! In retrospect already!

I wonder if he will plead that he was Doing an In Depth Study on prostitution. He can say he was only going into that subject about 4-6 inches. Not to worry, did not want to get in too deep.

I think the answer would depend on the woman. If she's acutely conscious of her 'social standing' it may trouble her more that it's with a prostitute... personally for me, I could care less who it was with... it would be over. Broken trust at that level doesn't ever come back to the way it should be. imo.

But for those who wonder about women cheating, I've seen enough of it to know it's just as prevalent as men cheating.

I'll never understand cheating. If I wanted to be with someone else, I'd have to acknowledge that something wasn't working in the relationship to send me looking elsewhere. At least have the decency to face that and end the relationship rather than drag everyone through the mess that cheating brings on.... and let's face it... who ever gets away without the spouse finding out?

It's an issue of integrity - if someone will cheat on their spouse, they'll let others down too.

No not a bad conscience. Just curious if the emotional connection makes any difference, since the hooker is just sex (so they say) and an affair something more personal (so they say).
