They narrowed it down to a couple of spammers and they've blocked their IP addresses. It's confirmed that the spammers are not party members and everyone has been able to vote.

Mulcair won the third round and we'll know if it goes to a fourth after Cullen supporters decide to delineate their support for Topp or Mulcair.

He will not go with Topp. He is old school NDP - And Cullens supporters are not.

I'm hoping this is the case as well. I actually don't mind Topp, but I think Mulcair can ride a very nice compromise that unites voters both right and left.

If Mulcair wins he will have lots of explaining his opposition to the Clarity Act. Wont sell in the ROC.

Saint John, N.B.
Hearing rumors ya know that Pierre was a Liberal Plant.

Myself I have been planting Liberals in my backyard each summer. Never seem to sprout. Not sure if I am planting them to deep or to close together.
Any advice?

Plant more.

Stack'em if necessary.

That is where the people that pay excessive taxes so that certain others can have extra bennies live.

Someone got duped at the negotiating table.

I don't know who planned the duties of the Mulcair tag along crew, but the non-stop football chant was a horrible idea. And I'm noticing after this third round that he is growing an air of douche about him that needs to be put out asap.

Equalization keeps them afloat. The are the major recipient if payments. Wait for the next negotiations where it will all hang out. EI for people that are seasonal. Move to where the work is. West of Ontario.

That won't stop equalization. But from what I understand the equalization formula might be changed to be a bit fairer. Believe it or not, despite the fact that Ontario is a 'have-not' province, they actually get less than they deserve. I think N.S. and P.E.I are also in the same boat. Quebec, does indeed get more than a fair share though.

When you have provinces, past tense, referring to Ontario when they were paying having fewer teachers, nurses, Dr's per capita than provinces who received equalization monies - well it is clear the system is broken. Was looking at the Australian model. Have to gather some more info on it though.

The Australian model is being propped as the ideal, but it's also because each sub-state (or province or whatever the hell they have there) don't fight with each other about the formula. They all recognize that it's important that the entire country can sustain itself.

The Board is independent - No Politicians - No politics - data - from income - to industry - taxes etc. That is what it should be based upon.

I'm sorry, you're right. It's bi-partisan and therefore does not favour any one territory unfairly. I even posted the thread about it. ;)
