That uniform is government property. I'm quite confident that the second amendment allows me to occupy it for a few weeks with an armed band of inbred backwoods cattle ranchers. Send socks and fruit loops. We're in for a long siege.

You keep bringing up the second amendment, but in this case it might finally be relevant since its a cop's uniform you want to occupy, but there are a few more laws you would have to break to do so, unless you applied, were accepted, trained and passed and were issued one of your own. The US also have FFDO's, which are armed pilots driving the bus, I guess an extension of the 2nd amendment, but their job is to secure the flight deck, they have air marshals to secure the cabin.

Yeah, its different down there, here in Canada whites, especially men, aren't allowed to be victims, that category doesn't exist.

I'm hard pressed to remember an incident whereby someone who was less than extreme!y unhinged was dragged from some sort of transit like that. ...black, white, Asian, striped, spotted, ...

Is this overbooking shyt a uniquely US of A problem?

Air Canada does it all of the time. It works differently, though as a flight attendant comes around with a hidden needle, shoots you up with Pentothal and you wake up in an opium den in Chinatown.

no, he's only belligerent to you.

To the rest of us, he choose not to give up a seat he paid for. He was asked. He said no.
No dear, all news outlets are now saying he was biligerent.
He was asked, made a scene, screamed like a girl, the cops were called and was still biligerent and got boot f-cked for noncompliance.

Then they punch you in the face and say "well, he was a drug user."

Lol

Seriously though, is this an unintended consequence of America's hyper capitalism?

The whole premise that led to this scenario seems completely absurd to me.

Why is overbooking even a problem?

This is FUKKED

Which of those is an assault rifle?
They both are! The rule is if John Wayne used it in a cowboy movie, it's a good gun.

If John Wayne used it in a war movie, it's a mean scary deadly killer assault rifle.

I've only had it twice where I had someone removed, one was belligerent, the other was drunk and belligerent, but they weren't dragged, just kind of forcefully escorted, the paperwork is a b!tch just the same. However I did have a guy climb half way out the door of a Beaver once, I was able to reach over and grab him to pull him back inside, the front doors are pretty small and apparently you can open them in flight, sure caught me off guard, that could've been a real paperwar.

You'd spend your life savings convincing the Crown that you didn't give him a little push.

Which at that time would've been around 25 bucks, bargain. :-D . But there were 4 other witnesses who were just as surprised, some were even half a$$ed sober, up 'tll then anyway.

Actually, I took his bottle away, that's what started it.
