Probably 10 Good reasons, but I can probably provide you with three
1. SOME POSTERS ENJOY IT
2. N.H.L. has many faces, sports, financial, political
3. People like to relive some events

We still don't know what's happening with the Phoenix Coyotes and some people are very interested in that. Over to you Talloola.

Depends where your interests go re: hockey. I love the draft, watch it every
year, makenotes of the whole first round, and like to know where all the
first rounders go, and who they are.
I look forward to july 1, first day of free agency, so the league begins a bit
of a change, players start moving around to different teams, as free agents.
Trades slowly start to happen, or not.
I'm not much for reliving what happened, it's over, and I look ahead, what's
done is done.
The phoenix situation is interesting, just the a bunch of lawyers making lots
of money, and a judge who is doing his best to force bettman and ballsilli (sp?)
to make an agreement between each other, giving them ideas to work with.
I still think that 'if' the team can move 'somewhere', the board of governors
will vote 'down' ballsilli being a new owner, they have that right, and it seems
they just don't want him.
It's nice to touch base once in a while, but most people aren't interested in
hockey on this board till the teams are playing, we'll see. I'll pop in here
once in a while to see if anyone's around and put out some hockey news.

The Stanley Cup HAS BEEN WON!!!

What is the reason for this thread any more??i

When it's any of your business, you'll be the first to know.
There are lots of threads on this board I look at, and haven't the
least bit of interest in, and wonder why anyone else would either,
but the last thing I would do is go into the thread and suggest they
shut it down, that is rude and ignorant, and self centered, as though
'you' are such an important factor, well you're not, you are very uninteresting,
and you come in here and repeat yourself over and over, get a life.

There now you've explained it to him too, but don't hold your breath, concrete can be hard to penetrate at times. Will probably run into you on other threads Talloola. Have a happy summer.

I think this series and entire post season was great for the game as a whole. I thought Detroit would win but was glad to see Pittsburgh pull it off. IMO Malkin, Fleury and Crosby were all legitimate choices for the Conn Smythe and there are arguments both ways for all of them. Osgood was the best Wing in the post season by a pretty good margin: if they would have won, there is no one else who would have deserved MVP mention more. Good teams also mean good goaltending. Hossa, I don't really feel sorry for him. He had a chance to stay with the Pens, he had chances for bigger payoffs and longer term deals but he chose a season with a team that was an odds on favourite. It was a decision that he made. People will judge him for it but no more so than many other players over the years. 15 pts in the post season is still a good contribution and better than most.

Because people still want to post in it and talk about hockey?;-)

This thread can stick around 365 days of the year for all I care.

There are other threads that you are more than welcome to post in and enjoy, after all. One thread out of hundreds cannot make you that upset can it?:-|
