how far back can you take that, though? if you go back far enough you find that china wasn't chinese, the USA wasn't inhabited by people of European descent and britain wasn't inhabited by britons.
But israel was jewish before there were arabs.....remember they will tell you that Abraham had two sons of which two great nations were born.

I'd suggest you could take that back to 1946. Prior to that, Jewish people DID live in Palestine - but they weren't rabidly so. They were nomadics who got on well with their Arabic Muslim neighbours. It was when United Nations decreed that refugee European Jewish people (who, by the way, were refused entry anywhere) could set up their new homes in British-controlled Palestine that trouble began. Yes, there was resent from the Arab community. Had Isreal practiced as she preached (turn the other cheek) she might have won her place in today's middle east. Traditionally, the wandering tribe hasn't done well at respecting its hosts.

And where is the Israel of tolerant nomads who could and did live in peace with other folk around them? When a faction of zealots manipulates an entire nation like the United States to pay billions for what...? If Germany launched an air assault against France or Spain fired missiles into some other nation....if any country had behaved like Israel has for the past fifty years, would they still keep the billions of dollars sent to them by the U.S.?

Dude the reality is this......every ceasefire is ruined due to the terrorists iether setting off exploding people in crowded Israeli places or lobbing in rockets.....The isarealis have never initiated these things...do you realize how many times they have ignored the terrorists acts, in the name of world opinion and peace...it doesn't work mate.....

Actually from Syria down it's a very nice cruising destination that attracts boaters from all over the globe. Once you let go the hype and hysteria, venture forth to meet the people living there, you find some of the nicest folk you'll ever meet all the way down to Egypt. The Red Sea is pretty dicey but the
diving is spectacular from what I've seen.

when Isareal was first established it was a piece of desert....when they built it into paradise neighboring Arab states said it was a jewish trick...
instead of spending money on doing the same.....I have talked to old Arabs about this...they lol at the memory and are amazed that i know such a thing!!!
if you go to Israel and enter arab areas one can see the difference how people live...
