Your thread reminded me of an old history professor I had. He used to say, "No one can be that stupid and wake up in the morning!"
Thank you, Professor Cillian Kavanagh (aka Muttonhead), you miserable bastard. If I took nothing else away from your lectures, it was that phrase. It was his response to any nonsensical or dimwitted observations provided by students in his lecture hall.
He was in his sixties, with almost no hair. What little he did have was pure white. He was five foot nothing, skinny and had a miserable disposition. The side of his face looked like a mountain canyon. Muttonhead had a stroke a few years before I met him and his face would sag when he got tired or worked up. He was always difficult to understand.

Donald Trump will announce within a few days the withdrawal of America from the Paris Accord. This is one of the gilded idols of the New Age, which demands complete submission to the bogus principles of AGW and the other psuedo religious dogmas of Radical, Anti Human Environmentalism.
It is Trump who is the Avant Garde of a new order, after the impending catastrophic collapse of Liberal Economic and Cultural programs, of which AGW is only one facet. Merkel, Macron, Trudeau are has-beens or soon will be.
Despite all of the chaos of his first months is office only Trump represents a viable way forward. That will become evident within the coming months and years as political tumult rocks the West in response to an corrupt and destructive ideology, completely irreconcilable with its origins as a civilization.
Trump has managed to succeed in rejecting the moral relativism, radical individualism, and post structural ideological forces that are ripping at the underbelly of the West.
He has appointed someone with moral sense and respect for the limits of judicial power to the USSC. He has withdrawn from the most blatant hoax in history, in AGW, which the Liberal Media and Political Establishment demanded must be accepted credulously. He rightly sees the world as an Arena of Nations, rather a Global Post-National Community.
It's a brilliant start, which will take time to gel into a social movement. And these pathetic, 'pretty', empty intellects who govern Germany, France, Canada and many more will be turfed as it takes hold. Their outrage is a sign that they see how vulnerable and untenable their politics have become.
