Well Torch light, I wondered if this might draw you back here, I thought you'd given up on us after that "A call to Dexter etc. " thread you started early in July, it had a look of finality and last words about it. I see you're still the same as you've always been.

In today's news, there is a Canadian government official openly supporting Hamas on his linkedin and fb pages. He should get an immediate one way ticket to Palestine. and have his Canadian citizenship and pension revoked .

Saturday’s attack provides a sobering reminder of what’s really at stake in the Holy Land. Israel has had 75 years to come up with a codified constitution that could have prevented a shaky coalition from ramming through fundamental changes to the country’s judiciary, but never did. Perhaps this is why — perhaps Israel just can’t have nice things like a constitution because it is constantly facing a mortal threat from its enemies.

At the same time, the events over the weekend should serve as a reminder to the world that one side in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not remotely interested in peace.

A Hamas military commander claimed that Saturday’s attack was intended to “expel the occupiers.” But the truth is that Israel has not occupied Gaza since 2005. Yes, Israel and Egypt have maintained a blockade of the Strip since Hamas took power, but these events show exactly why that has been necessary.

Hamas’ claims that its terrorism was perpetrated in response to Israel’s “desecration” of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem are equally misleading. Israel takes pains to preserve the holy sites of all religions and the mosque itself is administered by the Jordanian-appointed Jerusalem Waqf, not the Israeli government.

Hamas’ true mission is not to guard its territory from occupiers, or to protect Muslim holy sites, but to drive all Israeli Jews into the sea. Hopefully this incident will serve to unite Israelis across the political spectrum, not just in the coming days, but in the months and years ahead. Hopefully this will cause Jews to wake up and realize that their true enemy is not the courts or the elected government in Jerusalem, but the cold-blooded killers at their doorsteps.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow quickly came in for criticism after posting, “We must also acknowledge Palestinian pain and severe loss of life during this time.”

Perhaps Chow hadn’t read about the Supernova music festival held in southern Israel that was invaded by Hamas. More than 260 bodies of young people have been recovered from the site. Witnesses said it was like the scene from a horror movie as partygoers were killed in a hail of bullets.

Other reports said terrorists raped women alongside dead bodies. People were rounded up, kidnapped and some executed.

Chow later deleted her tweet saying, “My earlier tweets on this have been deleted because of the harm and confusion they caused.”

The confusion is entirely Chow’s. No one is confused about what Hamas has done.

When Hamas terrorists struck Israel, CBC executives immediately reminded their reporters not to call Hamas terrorists.

It didn’t matter that Hamas is listed as a terrorist organization by Canada, the European Union, the United States, Britain, Japan and Australia, CBC journalists were not to call Hamas terrorists.

It didn’t matter that what Hamas was doing undoubtedly constituted terrorism – the attacks on civilian rather than military targets, the kidnapping of old ladies and young children, the indiscriminate bombing of residential neighbourhoods, the killing of hundreds and maiming of thousands of non-combatants – CBC journalists were not to call Hamas terrorists.

“Do not refer to militants, soldiers or anyone else as ‘terrorists.’ The notion of terrorism remains heavily politicized and is part of the story,” CBC executive George Achi said in an email to all journalists.

In the email, Achi also warned journalists to be careful when quoting politicians who are calling Hamas terrorists.

“Even when quoting/clipping a government or a source referring to fighters as ‘terrorists,’ we should add context to ensure the audience understands this is opinion, not fact. That includes statements from the Canadian government and Canadian politicians,” Achi said.

Kind'a weird that we have federal politicians praising nazis and other govt shits supporting Hamas, which are basically muslim nazis. For a group of retards that keeps whining about right-wing extremism, they sure do like their right-wing extremists.
…and then from Canada’s still Current PM:
…and then the Hamas Spokesman when asked about murdering civilians…that all the bodies at the Israeli music festival and elsewhere are all propaganda of the Jews:
1696903259704.jpeg
Holy Cow…so the 3000 unarmed Party Goers from several nations at that Rave were all Israeli Spy’s or Soldiers or some such hogwash, as where the Children and Grandparents in their homes. Hamas didn’t harm any civilians with their 5000 missiles, etc…

Then dude says that Hamas with Swap the Hostages (not Prisoners of War) for 5800 Prisoners with Israel to further the conflict?

Then some footage of all the “non-civilians” on both sides and a few words from the Israeli PM.
Weird how Gaza is cut off from humanitarian aid, but somehow is able to snuggle in at least 5000 missiles and the equipment to launch them? You’d think they’d have snuggled in desalination equipment and a power plant or two, but priorities I guess.

Anyway, back in Canada, it’s one thing to call for human rights for people in Gaza and the West Bank, for a separate Palestinian state, for independence, but it is another thing entirely to cheer on a terrorist entity days after they started a brutal war.

You can’t avoid the media images of murder, rape, torture and kidnapping in Israel at the hands of Hamas terrorists from Gaza.

Yet through all the chants and signs about driving Israelis out from the “river to the sea,” what was noticeable was there was not one mention by pro-Palestinian protesters about all of those innocent people heinously slain.

Celebrating the murder and kidnapping of innocent Israeli civilians by Hamas — classified as a terrorist organization by Canada since 2002 — is immoral. There is no “nuance” about Hamas, no “context” in which its atrocities can be justified.

There is one thing about all this that's nagging me. How in the world was there such a colossal "failure" on the part of Israeli intelligence? These guys are one of the most, if not the most technologically advanced and useful intelligence bureaus on the planet and they had no hint it was coming? Even though the President of Egypt called Israel a few days previous to the attack and let them know what was going to be up.
Could this be sort of a half false-flag operation? Did Israel let it happen so they could openly and "justifiably" declare war on Palestine and end it once and for all after 75 years of their bullshit?

Could be a lot of reasons why Bibi did SFA about it.

I mean, look at Bush for 9/11.

Lots of similarities there at least in how both were warned and both elected to ignore the warnings.

Sure, could be that this was 'his chance to wipe out Palestine/Gaza/West Bank"

Or this could be distraction for his absolute cluster fuck for the Courts.

Or this could be part of the Extreme Right to get a hold of power.

Could be a lot of things.

All of them end up with Gaza likely razed to the ground, which I'm sure has you cheering so what's it matter to you the excuse?

Did they fail? Or did they let it happen. Israel has Saudi backing or even an ally in attacking Iran.

As one former IDF intelligence put it "a cat walking along the wall will set off alarms".

I was referring to Olivia Chow and a few other ALT-left dregs.

It's also funny how Trudeau can condemn the attacks but remain silent about all the Palestinians in Canada holding rallies and demonstrations to cheer terrorism, murder and kidnapping. The fucking goof incessantly whines about right-wing extremists in Canada but I guess in this case since there's no White people for him to pin it on these donkey fuckers get a free pass.

I don't cheer or support Nazi's, or Palestinians.

I don't feel sorry for them either.

I want to see BOTH sides (Israel and Palestine) blow each other up, thanks.

Also not sure where you get I "Cheer" for or support Nazi's; since I never once have. But sure, display your idiocy and ignorance more, Jin. It warms my heart.

Lets be clear. The Palestinian population is being lied to by their extremist Leaders. As individuals, most don't have an issue with Israel if you speak to them one on one. But the leadership is so vile (not unlike the U.S. Leftists), that they'll do anything including killing kids, to make their point, whatever the hell it is. Israel has suggested MULTIPLE solutions, even with almost EVERYTHING the Palestinian leadership wanted when Arafat was in control & he STILL turned it down. So my take is that Palestinians under the tyranny of their leadership will never go for a 2-state deal. Their whole reason for not wanting to go to the table is to destroy Israel - period. They want another holocaust for sure! What ever happened to "never again." Guess that's gone out the window as that's what has happened this weekend.

I too am wondering how Israel failed to figure out what was happening. I also think, (but obviously don't know) but I think the U.S. might have had an indication but didn't pass it on. I'm just saying that it's possible since so many Democrats/leftists hate Israel so it wouldn't surprise me. It may not have happened but I'm skeptical - just sayin'

Quran 67: 20, which means:
(Where are such hosts of yours, that can – apart from the Most Gracious – help you [in averting the punishment h?]
The disbelievers are only in self-deception [with their wealth, their sons and their large number.
])
................................................................................................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

h When the punishment settles on them.
It means: None can help and save you from the punishment, but only the Most Gracious, if you believe in Him today and follow His messenger….etc…
Yeah, got it. Religion of Peace, all others are bad, and all non-believers are infidels. The public must actually see the Israeli woman taken hostage by Hamas terrorists, hauled from a trunk and shoved back into it as men around her cheer, a large red blood stain soaking through her pants between her legs.

They must see the agricultural Thai worker decapitated, while still alive, by a garden hoe. It was not sharp enough to do it in one swing.

Canadians should watch videos of families forced to watch each other’s executions. Stripped-down teen girls, both alive and dead, paraded through streets

They must hear about children and infants whose heads were cut off without mercy. About young women at a music festival gang raped while surrounded by their friends’ bullet-littered and grenade-blasted corpses.
CTV described Hamas and Israel as “exchanging airstrikes.” CBC News insists on calling Hamas a “Palestinian Islamist group” and you, Torch Light, are here selling what? What’s your sales pitch again?

Islam isn't the only religion to claim to be "Religion of Peace", and so not be that thing.

That said, Christians have been called out for their crimes too so... there is equality in that.

But just as there are some Christians who are peaceful, so are there some from Islam.

Don't be like Hamas or Israel and lump them all together with one bias. Not all who live in Gaza or the West Bank are Muslim, and not all who live in Israel are Jewish.

85%-95% in Palestine are Muslim (I read that earlier tonight or I wouldn’t know it), and this week, in this thread, Islam is the religion of peace.

Religions, if kept private, and aren’t used as a club to subjugate other populations, have their place I guess if they offer the weak some kind of comfort. Once they are used as justification for clubbing another group or race or what have you like a bunch of baby seals…then I have no use for it whatsoever.

You can usually tell the shittiest religions by the recruitment efforts. If they need to go onto anonymous social media sites to sell their religion…. It’s probably pretty bad.

Islam CAN be a religion of peace.

Just like Christianity can be a religion of genocide, segregation, rape, torture, terrorism, etc, etc...

Religions, if kept private, and aren’t used as a club to subjugate other populations, have their place I guess if they offer the weak some kind of comfort. That's the problem with religion; that and people thinking their religion is THE ONE and only religion.

You can usually tell the shittiest religions by the recruitment efforts. If they need to go onto anonymous social media sites to sell their religion…. It’s probably pretty bad.

Actually, there's a lot of religion "sold" on not so anonymous social media sites too. Years ago I saw people trying to "Sell" Christianity, nevermind that the type they peddled was the Extremists, Evangelical type where women shut their mouths and did as they were told.

Religions like Islam, Christianity, Judaism and a few others are why I DON'T prescribe to one religion or way to believe.

Haven't oven-roasted six million Jews yet.

Incompetent enemies are a two-edged sword. The can't win, but they won't quit. Competent enemies do far more damage, but can be reasoned with.
