Canada is hardly close to being over-populated. Let me use a population density like China or India today in certain areas. Small familes are mandated and one or two children per couple is 'strongly encouraged'. Barring sex would be impossible and sterilization would more or less be forced on by the state. Unfortunately that is not reversible so should they lose that child they end up with no family. One solution to that would be to have a 'clone' made by using the egg of the closest living relative of the wife and the 'host' could be the woman herself that donated the egg or any woman willing to carry the fetus to term and releasing all claims as she has no DNA contribution. We had forced sterilization until mid last century, as did all of Europe.
Barring a living relative shouldn't the egg be donated by somebody with as many tissue matches as possible.

Here's a pot induced question, **** forgot it. lol

Here is a crack induced question, are we being monitored?

Since I question your sincerity about the 'joke' not being a subliminal jab at the intellect of someone you consider to be inferior to you. I have to battle that 'filter' in my replies to you just because of one conversation we had sever years ago about a 'momma grizzly' and the promotion of vigilante justice being perfectly justified once it had you personally involved. Perhaps I'm not as good as filtering all of that out as I think but the comment still related to pot bring om unsound reasoning and I'm left wondering what qualifies you as a judge (in a conversational way that lets me ask for papers (not rolling) that show you're my new mom. Perhaps that will help avoid a repeat of what just happened, if not I'll just pass on saying what classifies as spontaneous conversation.

Back to the regular programing.

Ah, I'd forgotten you're humourless. My bad. Carry on.

You know my number, say it to me.

You won't, you didn't, you can't.

I have noticed however that you have toned it down here quite a bit.

Learned your lesson I suspect.

I'd suggest you might want to, quickly, find more to contribute than commentary on posters.

:director2:TIME OUT!!!

They've agreed to not do anything. (Omnibus is law)

Harpo just said so

After he gave the NDP shyte for not supporting WW1

Ignoring the fact there was no NDP at the time of WW1

That was CCF

And there was only one CCF member who voted against WW1

Where's that rabbit hole? I'm leavin.:tongue7:

Harper lost it in the debate...................er, he lost it a long time ago, it just showed up. too rich. Mulclair can sure push Harpo's buttons.

Harpo's alluding to calling out the troops if not everyone agrees with him. Mulclair told him to F. off.......................no, that didn't happen.:p

I thought Harper's comparison was to WW2.

If it was WW1, I'd agree. That war was a total waste.

and there are wars that aren't a waste of time?

WW2. I'd say it was worth the price to stop Hitler. Though I guess you can say it was a waste in that it could have been avoided had people noticed the way the wind was blowing throughout the 30s.

could have been avoided, and all we did was trade Hitler for Stalin and start the Cold War and the arms race.

Everyone was aware of what Hitler was up to but they needed a war to end the great depression, so as far as I'm concerned, all those involved were guilty of that war.

Wall street bankers owned the USSR just as they owned the USA. The cold war was about manufacturing arms for profit. There never was a communist government in the USSR. The whole charade was about scaring the crap out of everybody to keep them hiding under their beds. Fear has always been the best means of control.

I seem to have misplaced my tin foil hat today. Do you have an extra one?

I would be interested in hearing how you think that war could have been avoided. A lot of people critisized the allies for waiting so long to go to war.

The question isn't when life begins at all. That's just a huge red herring.

Nobody doubts that Trayvon Martin was alive, the question is whether or not his death was justified. Moreover, it doesn't matter if the life is human or not, as the wanton killing of animals can also land somebody in the hot seat.

It could have been avoided right after WWI by not being vindictive with Germany. Proactively prevent the need for someone like Hitler to begin with.

Really, and that works for you?

just make sure you have a good aim.. it can get rather messy if you don't... ;-)

Well honestly.. I guess I am one of the fortunate or unfortunate, depending on how you look at it..

Got the mumps when I was a about 12.. so I became sterile. Shooting potato water.. lol

I can have all the fun with no worries of responsibility 9 months later..

But, when I see a family.. I know I can never have children unless I adopt.. as I was. So ife goes on.. kids are expensive anyhow.

However, my opinion on when life begins..

Choose Life, your mother did.

I was just wondering where you got the idea that "pulling out" was an acceptable form of birth control.
