Cutting off trade from your biggest customer sounds a bit like shooting yourself in the foot. How long would U.S. businesses put up with that? That would hurt Canada badly but we do have other customers. The U.S. doesn't protect our north or our surrounding waters now so that wouldn't be a big deal. The only people we need protecting from is the U.S. Entertainers?.........now that is silly.......:smile:

Actually Canadians are just the opposite, we don't like sticking our noses in anyone elses business, we keep to ourselves, and nobody bothers us. You may want to try follow our ways some time. The US gets most of its energy from Canada, Mexico and Venezuela. The US does not need Iraqi oil. Invading Iraq was about seizing control of oil consumed by Europe, China and India and perhaps future US consumption.
As far as trade between the US and Canada is concerned, we are each others biggest trading partners. Canada/US trade is mutually beneficial. Our close trading relationship makes both countries stronger.
While its true that the current US leadership is hated in Canada, its also true that the majority of Americans don't care for their leaders either. Despising American leaders is something the majority of Canadians and Americans have in common.

I laughed so hard at this one! That was my first reaction... or close to it. Miss Teen S.C will want for nothing. I would have to say she was coddled from Day 1, and pampered from then on.
