The dragon fly air force seems to be out in full force. BTW there are some really cool drumlins right on the outskirts in the north west or there is Goose **** Mtn at Douglas park. Can you run the 15 blocks?Hills? Seriously....Hills? That would be a Loooooong run.

Well with skeeters the size of pelicans I'm not surprised. That's almost exactly 15 blocks from my place!!! I saw a Dragonfly yesterday bigger
than any hummingbird I've ever seen. That thing looked like it needed landing lights.
It had to be 4" long and about 6" across the wings...or so it appeared at the time.
D-flies aren't near as bad as 3" long, 1" wide June beetles. Beetles are heavily armored and feel like cricket ball impacts. Caught one right square mid helmet just above screen doing about 85 MPH one time. It rocked my head back like a limb from a tree hit me.Well with skeeters the size of pelicans I'm not surprised.
They will only get bigger as the days go by.
Oh yeah... dragonflies hurt like hell on a motorcyle. Don't smile either. They don't taste so good.
Birds! Luckily it hit my clavicle and not my neck.D-flies aren't near as bad as 3" long June beetles. Beetles are heavily armored and feel like cricket ball impacts. Caught a bumble bee in the forehead once at 60 mph (before helmets were mandatory). Nearly blacked out.Birds! Luckily it hit my clavicle and not my neck.
