If I choose to "allow" a program or app to track my location does not mean I give carte blanche to any all.
Allow? That puppy can turned off or on without you ever knowing as well as conversations listened to even if you aren't on the phone and you've turned it off. Even if you pull the battery, the only way to hide is to pull your sim and leave it some place you ain't.

Think twice about openly talking with your crack dealer on your cell phone. Everything I stated is God's honest truth.

When you start getting dog food ads popping up on your smart TV everytime the dog barks, now you'll know how they found out you own a dog.

Can You Hear Me Now? - ABC News from 7 years ago before 4GLTE...just think what they can do now.

This will not stand, if challenged in the Appeals Courts. The Supreme Court of the USA has been very hard on police agencies that try to pull this stuff. A "Magistrate Judge" is the absolute bottom of the line in the Federal systen (until a few years ago, they were not even considered to be judges).

There is no way that the "ruling' will stand.

Facts are facts bud. If you don't like reality, don't bitch at me.

and the chip cards have nothing to do with tracking cell phones. Something the police NEED the co operation of the cell providers to do.

Now it can be done with the help of the cell companies? So much for being bullsh*t huh? Do they need to prove to the cell phone company you're a bad guy or does the company just step aside?

Did you read the lower court decision? Obviously not. Also, by the above reply, you've been talking out of your a$$ (as usual) and really have no clue as to what is and is not possible or what is or is not legal.

Legal doesn't mean jacksh*t anymore. EVERY call, fax, email, text, smoke signal and fart in the wind is monitored. Does Google or Facebook need a warrant to build a profile of you and your habits? Everything anyone ever wanted to know about you and all your habits are available without a warrant ever needed because you signed your privacy away when you signed the contract for service.

There is no expectation of privacy with cell phones and facebook
People don't understand that, public statements are what we are
making. If you want privacy in this regard don't say it.

Show me the line in your cell phone contract that guarantees privacy of your communications, usage habits, purchases or location.

Hi sweetie. Just had a flat. Gonna be a bit late. Go ahead over to the kids and tell them not to wait supper for me, ok?

Yo, Gordo. Missed the fvker with the first shot. Had to run him down. He's in the swamp now. Tell Louie it's all good. Get some beer cold.

The difference is that with Facebook, you know when you post the sh-it it is public. There is no expectation that your cellphone location is public nor should there be. Most people could live without facebook. Not too many can do without their cellphones.
