A bigot calling himself a non-bigot doesn't make it true. Most of the time bigots don't even know they are bigots.

Anyway, no-one is perfect, even Michelle Obama. And no-one can do or be anything perfectly. I'd suggest that M. Obama is a good role model for some Americans, but that's about the extent of it. And she would be to people of any skin color, and not because she's "black".

True True and True.

All of it.

Bigots can't understand that though and would most likely disagree.

I've avoided this Thread for a long time, & usually only venture into it to deal
with a reported post....and that's about it. I have skimmed a bit of this Thread
and I've a weird question as to the wording semantics throughout the Thread.

If people of Negro ancestry are Blacks....then are people of Asian ancestry
Yellows and North American Aboriginals Reds & people who's ancestors
are recently from the Asian subcontinent Browns or Toupes or what??? :-?
Following this logic, depending on the time of year, I'm either a Beige or a
Pink? 8O

Does this sound as silly to anyone else as it does to me? Anyway, I've
dipped my toe in the waters of this Thread, and until something is reported,
I'm out'a here.

lol Good point, Ron. Les is kind of a cream colored sort except where his t shirt doesn't cover, then he's tan. I guess he'd be called two-toned. lol I am back to a light mocha. In summer I am usually dark chocolate. Maybe I'd be a convertible?

I never thought being a racist was considered a high honor but I guess you know what you are... a racist.

"dark as they come"

RACIST

Being called a racist by you is like being called a homophobe by Rev. Fred Phelps. I would be honoured if Rev. Phelps calls me a homophobe. Same way I am honoured to be called a racist by a racist like you.

But yet, it still bugs you, doesn't it? You still have to comment. You have to tell everyone that it doesn't bother you, which shows that it does.

But we love you anyway. You're cute.

I state my opinion, TenPenny. Take it any way you want it, it is all the same to me. When I receive high praise, high compliment from somebody (like being called a homophobe by Rev. Fred Phelps or being called a racist by the racist EagleSmack), I don’t mind shouting it from the rooftop.

Are Obama or Al Gore proud of their Nobel Prize? Sure they are. OK, being called a racist by a conservative doesn’t come quite to the level of winning the Nobel Prize, but I am proud of the achievement nonetheless (modest as it may be).

You're even proud to be a racist? Wow. Well most racist are very proud to be what they are.

Indeed. I am proud to be called a racist by a conservative (since blacks shun conservatism worse than they would shun the black plague, that tells me that my views on race are just right). To me, it is quite an achievement to be called a racist by conservatives. That tells blacks that I am all right as far as race is concerned.
