And the Star wishing they could print the same thing about Ford........

Well, they can put in bold type "MAYOR ARRESTED ON CORRUPTION CHARGES" with a picture of Rob Ford beside it and then in the tiny print mention that it was the Mayor Of Montreal and attached are Mayor Ford's comments (to justify the picture).

Studies have shown that psychopaths and sociopaths are the most likely to rise to positions of power and leadership. Nothing surprising here.

8O..............Also ran:

Saulie Zajdel, former city councillor and former Conservative candidate in the last federal election in the Montreal riding of Mount Royal. He faces five charges, including breach of trust, fraud against the government, municipal corruption and receiving illegal commissions.
Zajdel was hired by the Conservative government as an adviser to Heritage Minister James Moore following his defeat in the 2011 election, but left the job with little explanation in the spring of 2012.
'No one is above the law,'—Robert Lafrenière, head of UPAC
The Liberals complained Zajdel was working as a "shadow MP" and meeting with elected officials to discuss federal services and grants, but Moore said Zajdel was working in his Montreal office as a non-partisan liaison with the city's ethnic communities. Zajdel was part of the prime minister's entourage when Stephen Harper visited Montreal in March, 2012.

Just because he's got a pointy nose, red fur, and a white tip on his tail doesn't mean he's with the pack of foxes............

"non partisan liason"..............:lol:..............in el Harpo's entourage.

And you're going to name some of these studies.

No Wally. I would never think of usurping you from your position. But since you are either too lazy or incapable of doing it yourself:

Why Some Psychopaths Are in Leadership Positions | Psychology Today

The Disturbing Link Between Psychopathy And Leadership - Forbes

Knock yourself out.

I am not sure why anybody is surprised by this. Its the corrallary of the 'nice guys finish last' axiom. I think it safe to say every leader (of govt or political party) in recent memory federally, provincially or locally have been of this mold. If they weren't, they would not survive the process and manipulate their own way to power. This includes beloved Lieberals and Dippers as well as Tories.

These studies have been out for a while. It would be hard to run a huge corporation and have a conscience; how can you screw people over for the dollar and sleep at night. Few can but being a psychopath helps.

The lay understanding of psychopath is inaccurate as most do not kill, they lead everyday lives...yes they dwell amongst us.
