Never said Al Gore made the models, I called the models he used "Al Gore" Models..... did you by chance notice the quotation marks?

And I didn't ignore anything..... I've seen and read it all before and by previous examples, those wonderful climate models ammount to sh*t, are inaccurate, limited on information used, and change every day.

Those same wonderful climate models in the early 2000's told us all about the horrors of global warming and how everything was going to just get warmer and warmer..... then in 2008, everybody started to notice the temps were dropping in many areas at a steady rate..... then these clowns pulled another one out of their ass and said that we're entering a "Global Cooling" which is going to delay their original calculations of Global Doom.....

Global warming may 'stop', scientists predict
Global warming may 'stop', scientists predict - Telegraph

"Global warming will stop until at least 2015 because of natural variations in the climate, scientists have said.

Researchers studying long-term changes in sea temperatures said they now expect a "lull" for up to a decade while natural variations in climate cancel out the increases caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions.

The average temperature of the sea around Europe and North America is expected to cool slightly over the decade while the tropical Pacific remains unchanged.

This would mean that the 0.3°C global average temperature rise which has been predicted for the next decade by the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change may not happen, according to the paper published in the scientific journal Nature......."

So tell me why those wonderful and oh-so accurate computer climate models didn't figure this one out? It only happened about 8 years after their magical predictions of the future..... a future they somehow predicted for the next 30-50 years.... yet they couldn't even figure out what was going to happen in 8 of those years.

If they couldn't see this coming 8 years prior, why the hell does anybody think they can predict what's going to really happen in another 10, 25, 50 years?

If this cooling of the oceans was a "Natural Variation" then why didn't they toss it into their calculations as something that could happen? It was Natural after all, one would think these experts on Nature could see it coming.

Guess not.

And big deal if the precious Pengis do die off.... they're in their own little isolated world of ice and snow where their only natural predators are seals and whales, which already feed off of other sea life in the ocean.... their disappearance will have little effect on the rest of the planet. They're like pandas..... cute but completely useless.

Penguins dying off would increase the fish population down in the South, which would increase the population of whales AND the precious little seals that all the tree hugging hippies are so worried about...... I don't see a problem.

Well, let's see these "Al Gore" models.

And I didn't ignore anything..... I've seen and read it all before and by previous examples, those wonderful climate models ammount to sh*t, are inaccurate, limited on information used, and change every day.

Your still ignoring it. Does a temp in one place tell us the global average?

Have you ever looked at the models?

Global warming may 'stop', scientists predict

It hasn't.

So tell me why those wonderful and oh-so accurate computer climate models didn't figure this one out? It only happened about 8 years after their magical predictions of the future..... a future they somehow predicted for the next 30-50 years.... yet they couldn't even figure out what was going to happen in 8 of those years.

Yawn....look at the models.

If they couldn't see this coming 8 years prior, why the hell does anybody think they can predict what's going to really happen in another 10, 25, 50 years?

Within model for casts.

If this cooling of the oceans was a "Natural Variation" then why didn't they toss it into their calculations as something that could happen? It was Natural after all, one would think these experts on Nature could see it coming.

Guess not.

Yawn....again.

And big deal if the precious Pengis do die off.

See, that's all you had to say.....simple.

Penguins dying off would increase the fish population down in the South, which would increase the population of whales AND the precious little seals that all the tree hugging hippies are so worried about...... I don't see a problem.

You have proof eliminating a species won't affect other species in a negative way? So an increased Whale population won't affect fish stocks? You should read the book I posted.

Since you are a marine biologist I'd love to hear your thoughts on the elimination of several species and the affects on our ecosystem.

"Sea ice plays a critical role in the Antarctic ecosystem – not only as a platform for penguins to breed, feed, and molt, but as a grazing ground for krill, tiny crustaceans that thrive on algae growing on the underside of the ice. Krill, in turn, are a food source for fish, seals, whales, and penguins."

Oh dear, your precious whales....but who cares...right?

It is the easy answer.

Tree hugging hippies? This from a New Democrat.

The problem with this hypothesis is that mass species extinctions also accompany ice ages, (update: and this hasn’t happened), but I can’t see any reason to accept this for the present since we are not experiencing “super storms” and other extraordinary weather phenomena.
Since the green belt that is between the current deserts of the world and the freezing zones would move with the advance of the cold fronts the world would see the desert areas receive the same moisture that the ligher latitudes get now. You would have one growing season rather than the year-round conditions of today. Some fast growing crops might still allow for two harvest, like hay.
As long as everybody moved with the 'seasons' it would be a benign event for the most part.

Why wouldn't climate change be governed just by the minute variances in our solar orbit and enhanced by the tilt that changes slightly bur regularly over long periods of time, like 10,000 years? Winds are driven by temperature differences not by which way a compass reads.

I have been thinking about migration myself, I undertand it's nice in Austraila. I will embrace global warming, just make it stop snowing.
Civilizations move with the climate, what;s new, nothing. There have been a lot of really big storms in the last ten thousand years, many of them so far outside of norm that the witnesses of those events remembered them for hundreds of generations and still do. Electricity, makes the wind blow. Sunspots and earths climate, the connection is observed and verified and just beginning to be worked into wider climate and weather forcasting. So while the pole has been observed and verified to have moved signifigintly and continues to, and it is the end dot on our magnetic axis, which is directly in the observable solar circuit (aroora borealice millions and or billions of free amps) yes IMHO it is time to buy long underwear. Even if the event is geologically fast like a century it will still signifigantly alter the flora and fauna of the planet, which is repairable, the planet that is. The geological history of the planet is regular only in it's irregularity I guess. The biggest part of evolution is catastrophy. Little ice ages are not holly wood the historical record is full of them. If your expecting a uniform past or future you're going to be disappointed. I hear the golden age was nice. Maybe we'll get lucky. I just want it to stop snowing here.

The quick and easy long-term solution is to move 'here' to where it isn't snowing. How valuable is a snowdrift to you anyway?

Where is here? I can't leave, I have to defend Nova Scotia from the Islamics, I'm on guard for thee. I'm designing a snow furnace. Wood you like to invest?

Well, let's see these "Al Gore" models.

Look through all the global warming threads in this forum alone that have all sorts of charts and models tossed around.

Your still ignoring it. Does a temp in one place tell us the global average?

Does the Global Average actually tell you what's really going on? And I wasn't using one temp in one location.... the report I talked about earlier here in Australia talked about the changes across the nation..... I was also talking about what I have experienced and what I'm being told of what's happening in Atlantic Canada, as well as central Canada....... I also noted what has been happening in Antartica. I focused more on the Victoria/Melbourne area because the report talked more about this area due to being from this area.

Have you ever looked at the models?

Yup.

Because it never started..... in my previous link about the cooling, it was Global Warming supporters who claimed the delay..... now you have other Global Warming supporters claiming it isn't..... why can't they make up their minds?

Yawn....look at the models.

Yawn indeed.... seen it all before...... now rather then looking at models, how about you look at real, physical proof of what's really going on, which show a much larger picture:

We're on the up-swing which will soon be going down.

Funny how Global Warming supporters only show data from the last century, but never bother to go back further...... and when any other ideas or concepts come along in a thread that might explain what's going on, they hi-jack the topic and unload the same useless information to somehow further push their GW propaganda.

Within model for casts.

Yawn....again.

So the ocean temps dip every year or so before going back up..... then why did these Global Warming supporters and scientists claim it's going to stall GW until 2015 if that's what's going on now?

See, that's all you had to say.....simple.

Indeed, I don't even know why you brought up the penguins in the first place.

You have proof eliminating a species won't affect other species in a negative way? So an increased Whale population won't affect fish stocks? You should read the book I posted.

I looked online and through other resources before I posted to make sure there weren't any known issues if the Penguins died off and all I saw was that there'd be more fish.

If the ice in Antartica was completely vanishing, of course there might be an issue, but since it's expanding and moving location, that's not the case.

Oh dear, your precious whales....but who cares...right?

I don't.

It is the easy answer.

Pretty much.

Tree hugging hippies? This from a New Democrat.

Yup ;-)

How is the Mesosphere doing these days? Still far far colder then poles? Just a 30 some miles above your noggin the atmoshphere is so cold it makes the poles look like Hawaii.

I like models.

I built a Messerschmitt Bf 109 recently with my nephew.

Where can we get a climate model? We have adhesive and paint left over.

No, I want Al Gore's models.

The nation is still one spot fella, the global average is a real indicator of global temps. Yeah it does tell me what's going on, it's getting warmer...that's why they call it AGW and not AAW or ACW.

Because it never started..... in my previous link about the cooling, it was Global Warming supporters who claimed the delay..... now you have other Global Warming supporters claiming it isn't..... why can't they make up their minds?

All within the models you claim to have seen.

We're on the up-swing which will soon be going down.

Clearly you haven't taken a look objectively.

I'll help.

More indication of dirty energy high jacking the science of Climate....I'd give you lots of examples but I somehow doubt you'd bother to have a look.

So the ocean temps dip every year or so before going back up..... then why did these Global Warming supporters and scientists claim it's going to stall GW until 2015 if that's what's going on now?

Again short term predictions within model parameters.

Indeed, I don't even know why you brought up the penguins in the first place.

Evidence of the effects of AGW....why else...many species are being affected...just have to look.

I looked online and through other resources before I posted to make sure there weren't any known issues if the Penguins died off and all I saw was that there'd be more fish.

....and I just gave you one that says it is bigger than just Penguins.

If the ice in Antartica was completely vanishing, of course there might be an issue, but since it's expanding and moving location, that's not the case.

Is it really?

I know.

Pretty much.

Which is why you said it.

Pot meet kettle.

Saturn's electrically charged atmosphere has erupted in spectacular fashion.
Sungrazers are comets that pass close to the Sun in their highly elliptical orbits. They tend to reaffirm the Electric Universe opinion about comets: If comets are the result of electrical events that took place early in the life of the Solar System, then their several "anomalous" behaviors can be easily explained.
Some comet anomalies include Hale-Bopp's ion tail and coma when it was far past Jupiter's orbit, the catastrophic explosion of Comet Linear when it was over 100 million kilometers from the Sun, the desert-like, cratered appearance of Comets Borrelly and Tempel 1 (contrary to the "dirty snowball hypothesis), and Shoemaker-Levy 9's broken pieces refusing to expel any water vapor.
The Sun's radial e-field is a dynamic structure, changing in strength and size depending on the corresponding

DB (the systems E Field supports everything in it, the planets the dust the life forms and the climate on earth)

No but I am willing to provide fuel at a reasonable price. This global warming induced snow is killing our daffodils. We should be working in the garden by now, instead we got snow again last night.

Same thing here. I haven't seen snow like this for a long long time. This morning it was eighteen below tomorrow morning it will be five above and we have rain snow and wind for the next twenty four hours. We are running out of places to put the snow.
