Should isn't the same thing as "Must"..... or sticking a gun to your head and forcing you to vote a certain way.

Though if Harper has his way, we'd be forced at gun point to vote for his party..... after all, democracy is an obstacle in the way of his dictatorship.

What's the matter?

Can't refute facts?

Facts? Show me facts that qualify the stupid statement I underlined in your post.

See anyone kicking in your door for making such a ridiculous inflammatory claim?

Wow!

I love when the nutbars shoot their mouths off, the stupidity comes out in great gobs.

I think Layton's popularity is a protest against the same old government we've seen for the last 50 years. People want change.
If the people want Layton, so be it. I just hope they take the time to look closely at his policies and how they will be funded. We could end up in big trouble. His idealism is wonderful, but tax and spend is not a good policy in these times. We could end up like the European countries that have gone broke.
Thee's no denying that Harper has gotten us through the recession in comparative good shape. A change of direction right now might not be wise.
Time will tell I guess.
ypu are absolutly right tax and spend is not a good policy! A better policy is the one used by Concervative and liberals that would be spend and borow and spend more and borow more . Ya thats it I'm voting concervative because I like a govermen that keeps the national dept high!

I have no idea whether x.2 billion of economic aid or x.3 billion is the magic number. So, yes, I will vote for the party that wants dismantle the long gun registry.
the 2 or three billions is a liberal miss managed registry. we had all the the registries in place for auto, birht, and marrige. It was a simple task of making a registration form filled by the owner and have the registration process by the existing registry. At a small cost to the owner. Instead it was free and done by police who didnt have the time . Had it been done right it would of cost nothing to the tax payer who by the way most dont own a riffle.

When you make a post and you see a red underline that is a clear indication that you spelt sumfin wrong. Perhaps the correction below will help.

You are absolutely right tax and spend is not a good policy! A better policy is the one used by Conservative and liberals that would be spend and borrow and spend more and borrow more. Yaw that’s it I'm voting conservative because I like a government that keeps the national dept high

I have a postie who corrects spelling mistakes in my incoming mail. Odd how it managed to find its way to Wahnapitae without her help. In the time I spent coaching for Literacy Outreach, I was satisfied when a client could make his/her thoughts known in print - even with spelling mistakes.

FYI postie and Wahnapitae are underlined. Can I send without offending ye who are looking for offence?

I'm sure Jack would be really happy to be endorsed by a guy who uses a swastika to label that which he disagrees with and who can't spell:

  • campain campaign
  • celection election
  • canadians Canadians
  • prety Pretty
You any relation to Dave (Doc Dred)?

Education. Get some!
since Einstein and most Doctors can't spell well either then I guess I'm in good company and i'm sure Layton would love our indorcement. Thanks for reminding me! And the swastica is to make a point on how close to faschism we would become with a majority concervative . The G20 sumit in Toronto was just an example of what could be done by the concervative.

You know, like me putting a swastika on an NDP banner when I can't even spell swastika.

lol.... well.... some people in here don't like getting their own medicine dished back at them I see.

Like how some in here state that it's a fact that taxes will go up, markets will crash, the US will close its borders & jobs will be lost if the NDP gain power..... among other things.... while supplying very little backing up their "Factual Claims"

See anyone kicking in your door for making such a ridiculous inflammatory claim?

I said if Harper had his way.... which we're lucky he doesn't..... so obviously nobody would be kicking our doors down right now or sticking guns to our heads to vote for him.

Wow!

I love when the nutbars shoot their mouths off, the stupidity comes out in great gobs.

That's a two-way street m'dear, and your group of nutbars flung the first green turd when this election started...... now what do we all see?

You guys running around & crying foul because you can't take what you've been giving.

Awwww..... Muffin, it's ok.... I'm sure when Layton becomes PM, there'll be a wonderful Socialist-Nanny to come to your door and rock you to sleep at night.....

I don't mind paying for that..... so long as it shuts your guy's moaning and crying up.

Heck we all make spelling mistakes Lone Wolf. It's just the ones that look drunken and angry that stick out like a sore thumb.

You can blame poor spelling on the conservatives cutting funding to our education systems.

What medicine would that be?

Well its one thing to say taxes will go up or in Harpers case that deficits will rise, but you kind slipped into a ridiculous tirade while acting as though you had the upper hand intellectually.

I said if Harper had his way.... which we're lucky he doesn't..... so obviously nobody would be kicking our doors down right now or sticking guns to our heads to vote for him.
Nice retreat. No worries I know you realize it was a silly statement.

That's a two-way street m'dear, and your group of nutbars flung the first green turd when this election started...... now what do we all see?
First green turd. Okay good refute.

You guys running around & crying foul because you can't take what you've been giving.
Really is that how you see it when someone identifies that you look rather ridiculous when you're taunting someone with a ridiculous inflammatory statement?

Awwww..... Muffin, it's ok.... I'm sure when Layton becomes PM, there'll be a wonderful Socialist-Nanny to come to your door and rock you to sleep at night.....
When Jack becomes PM. I doubt it, unless he tries to form a coalition. If it didn't hurt so much I'd almost chalk it up as a hard lesson for our Country to learn, but they need only to look at what Bob Rae did to Ontario during his stint as Premier.

I don't mind paying for that..... so long as it shuts your guy's moaning and crying up.
Which guy is that? Or did you mean you guys.

You can blame poor spelling on the conservatives cutting funding to our education systems.
My guess is that the swastika kid was in school long before the Conservatives took power. Stupidity is always easier to blame on others, that's what socialist do all the time.

Oh Snap!

I'm not a fan of the NDP, but if I had to pick a leader for our country out of the crop of 'men' running, I have to say Layton would be it.

^ This pretty much sums up why people are voting NDP.

Part of the reason is that they give little real attention to middle-income Canadians--not every Canadian with real problems is dirt poor. Considering that the middle class is the engine of any economy, this is a big mistake on their part. But then that has traditionally been Liberal territory and they don't have a very good track record in that area either, to say nothing of the Conservatives.

What I find laughable is people who are low-income and even middle-income, not to mention people in academia, who vote Conservative. Listen up folks, these aren't the nice traditional Tories your Dad voted for; these guys are a totally different animal and anything but conservative; despite the cuddly everyman, nationalist rhetoric, they are elitist, neo-con/liberal, individualist sell-outs right down to the bone marrow. If you keep voting them in they will gradually give away your control over your own resources and the sovereignty that old-school Canadian politicians, conservatives among them, strove to bring about. If you're traditionally conservative then the NDP is, practically speaking, far closer to that line of thinking than Harper's crowd and that also goes for PC's flip-flopping clone, the Liberal Party (Trudeau was the exception, just accept it).

What if the NDP form the official opposition to a Conservative minority gov't?

This is what a former Liberal advisor thinks::

Second, would a weakened Liberal Party that finished third work with the NDP to defeat the Conservatives and make Jack Layton prime minister? That looks to me like putting a gun to your own head. It admits that the Liberals are no longer a governing party, and accelerates the downward spiral into obscurity. Ask various Western provincial Liberal leaders about it. Would it not be smarter for the Liberals to let the Conservatives continue to govern, if Mr. Harper would make them a reasonable offer in the form of an amended budget?

Election Ringside, April 28: ‘Winning the election, losing the House?’ - The Globe and Mail

Makes sense to me: more of the same.
