And the occupy movement is simple grassroots, and in touch with reality.

Not to sure about reality but they are touching something

Actually on whole the least change possible is best. Some people have a mania for changing things, mainly just to add their "flavor" to it and in doing so generally just f**k things right up. Some of the things they want to change took many years by many people to put in place and then one "Johnny come lately" out of the blue thinks he's got a better idea. Like this guy on the forum who thinks he's going to be the next Liberal Prime Minister. I don't think there's anything that should change by more than one or two percent at a time, and if possible it should be given a trial run in places like the remotest part of Greenland or Antarctica to make sure it works.

Like the guy that took a perfectly good crank off the front of cars and but in a bunch of electric junk that causes nothing but grief?

Speed limits are another issue. Saskatchewan and Alberta have some of the straightest highways in the world, why can the Germans safely drive at unlimited speeds on winding roads but, as Canadians, we need our government to protect us from people driving so fast on highways?
Because there are so many that haven't a clue of how to handle high velocities.

Back on topic. As an emigrant, I really feel like our immigration laws are ridiculous strenuous. I knew a guy that was married to an... Indonesian? One of those south-east Asian-Pacific countries where everything goes smoothly if you bribe people. He was able to live there with her quite easily after bribing the immigration officials a few thousand dollars. When they decided to move back to Canada, they waited ~2 years, paid ~$20,000 in lawyer bills, and were still waiting.
lol Well, the CIC is an odd bunch. It's ok to stay in Canada if you sneaked in, pulled a few scams, raped women, etc. But gawd help you if you let your visa run out even if you have paid a fortune and waited years to get in.

A taught behaviour...
Loose behaviors are better. More fun anyway. :D

That's because it's the ultimate bureaucratic sin...it results in more paperwork! Ya gotta have priorities man.

Way, way better. ;)
