I could not be bothered to quote all the Kool-Aid drinker leftists, above, who condemn Lou Dobbs. As Forest Gump said, stupid is as stupid does, and those who believe the left-wing media spin are a prime example of that.

Lou Dobbs and Meg Whitman are accused of hiring illegal aliens. The fact that they relied on their respective employment agencies for verification of valid employability means nothing to the left wing loonies.

If Dobbs and Whitman had insisted on their potential employees to show proof of citizenship or at least a green card, they would be reviled by the same left-wing loonies for racial profiling.

Employees for his own company are carefully checked....according to to most articles I read...and the contractors he hires have assured him that they hire only leagal people....now the left expects him to check the books of those companies, simply because he expects the government to do so.......

I suppose it depends on what you call scaremongering. I didn't watch Dobbs much, but in those few programs I did watch he did his level best to create an alarmist scenario on every position he opposed. My perception of that sort of reporting is that he was attempting to substitute fear for reasoned analysis. It is unfortunate that so much of what is considered news analysis in the US has been reduced to Dobbs' level of reporting.

Yes, and he should practice as he preaches.

I'm having a hard time understanding the difficulty some on this site have with this simple concept.

At least he's in good company...Thomas Jefferson railed against slavery while employing slaves too.

Having worked in industry and having to rely on other people's statement that a certain job has been done...I choose to believe that a person can't check behind everyone all the time and unless you do everything yourself you cannot be certain that it has been done right.
You choose to believe otherwise...

I'm just wondering if you would judge as harshly ....someone whose policies you agreed with.....
