And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.
Do you really understand what that means, and what the implications are, and that it's a dismally fatalistic and senseless thing to believe? Everything is the choice of Allah, absolutely everything. Evidently he has not seen fit to guide me to a straight path, because I don`t believe he even exists, and that is his choice, not mine, yet he is prepared to punish me for eternity because of it. I think that`s beneath contempt, I wouldn`t worship a nasty character like that even if I did believe he had any reality.

Oh sure, god's fair and reasonable and lets us choose, but if we get it wrong he fries us in hell forever. What kind of a choice is that? That's not a choice at all, it's a pure coercive threat not worthy of a supreme being who claims to care about us.

This is my idea, which may be related to what I certainly believe in the Glorious Quran and its interpretation:

The community of Paradise people: righteous, sincere, truthful, kind, loving each other – in addition to being obedient to their One God.

If disbelievers come to such a community with their criminal attitude, hatred, coveting others and envying them – in addition to their disbelief and association with God; then what will happen? Such disbelievers will corrupt that community of Paradise as is the situation in this Worldly life.

Even angels who were the inhabitants of the past planets, and now are the inhabitants of the paradises; even the angels will never disobey God Whom they fear very much; because they saw the punishment of Hell before their sights for the associaters and God's enemies.
This is in the Quran 37: 58-59 about the saying of the people after their admission into Paradise:
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ . إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
The explanation:
(Is it [the case] that we shall not die [in Paradise]!?"
"Except our first death [in the World],
and [that] we shall not be punished [because we shall never disobey God.]")

And about angels in Paradise, they say as in the Quran 16: 50
The explanation:
(They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.)

Their Lord is mounting above the Throne which is above the ethereal heavens where they dwell.

Moreover, none (including the prophets and apostles) may enter into Paradise unless by God's mercy; because all sons of Adam are sinners, and the best among them are those that repent from their sins.
Prophet Mohammed – peace be on him – said that even he will not be admitted into Paradise unless by God's forgiveness and mercy.

This is in the Quran 27: 19 about Prophet and King Solomon prayer:
وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
The explanation:
(And - according to Your mercy [Lord] – admit me [into Paradise] amongst Your righteous servants.")

Therefore, none of these may commit – in Paradise – any transgression or disbelief in God; and anyone – even if he is a high rank angel – who will be proud over God's servants will be driven away of Paradise, like Azazil (or Iblies or Satan) who became proud over the angels so he was tried by the prostration to Adam and he refused and then was driven out of Paradise.

Those who fulfill their punishment in Hell, will they commit any disobedience, even if they are the most stubborn and arrogant ones?

Ask yourself and your conscience: do you really not believe in your Creator?
In distress Whom did you (and all other men) call upon to rescue you?

This is in the Quran 31: 32
The explanation:
(When waves [of the sea] enshroud them like covering clouds,
they call on God [at the time of danger], making their praying devoted exclusively to Him [and they forget about their association, disbelief and atheism];

but when He has delivered them safely to the land – behold some of them are reformers [but most of them deny Our signs] and none denies Our signs but every deceitful and ungrateful [one.] )

All of those hundreds and hundreds of long winded posts lecturing 'what happens to people after they die is ridiculous. No one has ever come back to enlighten us as to how things

See this: a man who – in his childhood – visited the after-death world then returned again to this life of the World one hour later, and he told us in details what he saw in that world.
Was it death or fainting?

Yes, I really do not believe. I have not called upon him to rescue me. I get by with a little help from my friends.

Yes, I really do not believe. I have not called upon him to rescue me. I get by with a little help from my friends.

How can your friends rescue you when they are absent or buisy with saving themselves; Whom will you call upon other than your Lord and forget about all your skeptism as you call it?

Amr son of Aas, an adversary of the prophet, went together with some men of Quraish pursuing the believers that migrated to Abyssinia. They embarked on ships to cross the Red Sea, so at the start there came a calm wind, until they were in the middle of the sea, and the storms came on them; their ship became like a feather in the stormy wind; they were about to be drowned; at that time they supplicated God to save them and they will be good and abstain from their work against the believers; so the storms calmed down, and when they reached the land of Abyssinia, they forgot about their covenant with God and returned to their wickedness; so these ayat 10: 22-23 were revealed:

The explanation:

([Say, O Mohammed, to these associaters:] It is He [: God] Who moves you on the land and the sea [during your travels, then why should you call upon those apart from Him?] And when you were in the ship [going to Abyssinia, pursuing the believers who emigrated thereto]; the [ship] sailed with them with a soft wind, and they were glad therewith; then came [following that soft wind] a stormy wind, and waves came on them from every side, and they thought they were overwhelmed therein; they, then, called upon God, making their devotion pure for Him only [and they forgot about their idols; saying in their supplication:] "If Thou [: Lord] saves us from this [distress], we will surely be among the grateful."

But when He delivered them [from that distress], behold, they transgressed [on the believers] in the land [of Abyssinia] without right. O people [of the unbelievers of Mecca,] your transgression is only against yourselves [because you returned despised and rejected]; [for] the livelihood of this Worldly life [is only little in comparison to the Hereafter], then you will resort to Us [after death], then We shall tell you about [all the evil] that you used to do [in the life of the World.])

---------------------------------------------------------------------

So in such distress, you will not call on any but God Almighty to save you, and in case you say no; I think any man will call on his Lord.

Moreover, God said in the Quran 17: 67- 68

The explanation:

( And when distress touches you at the sea, [all] those to whom you pray will be forgotten, except Him; but when He bought you safe to the land, you turned away [being averse]; surely, man is ever unthankful.

Do you feel secure that He will not cleave the land open with you, or send upon you a shower of pebbles, then you will have none to guard you.

Or do you feel secure that He will not bring you back to it once again, and send against you a hurricane of wind, and drown you because of your ingratitude, then – on Our part – you will find no prosecutor for you, as to it.)

No point in calling on someone who never answers.

I feel quite secure that he's entirely imaginary.

This is the point: the believer will not disdain from submitting himself to God, and from yielding and obeying his Lord; while a disbeliever is the opposite of that: he disdains from the prayer and supplicating his Creator the Most Gracious Who bestowed on him every bounty and grace; that is because of his vain pride.

No, I have here to testify that He answers the prayer when He is called upon; and have answered my prayers; praise and thanks to my Lord, in spite of the denial of disbelievers.

I tell you this: in the recent Gustav hurricane all the Americans in the region of Luisiana were in great panic, and 2 million people fled their homes to other places in their country; I watched the news from Yahoo; I surprised and said in myself: Aren't there in these millions some who may supplicate God alone [and leave their associating Jesus and the patron saints with God] so they pray God alone to save them in stead of crying and being in preplexity and weary?
Then I saw in the Yahoo news one said: "We put our trust in God; to Him we resort and we have faith in God [to save us]."
So I expected that the hurricane will pass mildly; and it was as such.

I feel quite secure that he's entirely imaginary.

You are wrong in your feeling secure; none - including the prophets feel secure of God's punishment, and all are afraid of Him; and He calls people to fear and beware of Him; this is according to the Quran 7: 99
The explanation:
( Do they feel secure against God's planning, [in stead of their planning against the believers]? None feels secure against God's planning but the people of the lost [because they do not believe in the coming of the punishment on them.])

This also is in the Quran 4: 131
The explanation:
( Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth belongs to God;
We recommended those [Jews and Christians] given the Scripture [: the Bible] before you as [have We recommended] you [in the Quran] that:
"you should ward off [God's punishment, and give the Zakat-alms to the poor];
but if you are ungrateful [to God's favor and become niggardly], surely, all that is in the heavens and in the earth belongs to God; surely, God is ever All-Sufficient, All-Laudable.)

That's not logic, that's the fallacy of post hoc rationalization, the usual justification for thinking prayer actually works. Why didn't it work with hurricane Katrina? You think nobody was praying correctly before that one struck?
You are wrong in your feeling secure;
Yes, I might be wrong I suppose, but I don't believe it's very likely. The weight of evidence and reason is with me.

You think prayer really works? Try praying for something completely selfless and greatly positive, like the remission of all childhood cancers. Get everybody at the mosque you attend to pray for the same thing, at the same time. Spread the word, try to get the whole Islamic world community to pray for it. Both the Bible and the Quran are quite explicit about this sort of thing: if they're right, it should work, even if only one person asks for it. Try it, then come back and explain why god apparently chose not to end the suffering of the innocents when genuinely and earnestly entreated to do so.

Let us ask this question to understand Allah's ways in His creation. The Quran tells us that good, evil and whatever happens in this world happens by Allah's Will (mashiat Allah). Only Allah knows fully His Will. We finite beings cannot grasp fully His infinite Will and Wisdom. He runs His universe the way He deems fit. The Quran tells us that Allah is Wise and everything that Allah does is right, just, good and fair. We must submit and surrender to His Will. The Quran has not given us all the details about Allah's Will, but it has enlightened us with the guidance that is useful and sufficient for us. There are several points that we should keep in our mind to understand this issue:

1. First of all, Allah did not make this world a permanent world. This is a temporary world and everything here has a time limit. When its times comes it will die, come to an end and finish. Neither the good things of this world are forever, nor the bad things eternal. We are here for a short time and we are being tested. Those who will pass this test will find an eternal world that is perfect and permanent. Those who will fail this test shall see the evil consequences of their sins and corruption.

2. Allah has placed a physical law and a moral law in this universe. Allah allows suffering to occur when one or more of these laws are broken. The physical law is based on cause and effect. Sickness comes if one does not take care of ones health or is exposed to infections. A car accident occurs when one is not alert, or drives in a careless manner, or if the cars are not checked, roads and freeways are not made and kept in right shape, or the traffic laws are not right or not properly enforced. Study of causes and effects is very important to facilitate safeguards. Even here we should keep in mind that Allah often saves us and He does not let us suffer from every negligence. How many times it happens that we are not careful and still we reach safely to our destinations. The way people drive in some cities, it is a miracle that more accidents do not happen and more people do not suffer. Allah says:

(Allah) Most Gracious! It is He Who has taught the Quran. He has created man: He has taught him speech (and Intelligence). The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; and the herbs and the trees both (alike) bow in adoration. And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), in order that you may not transgress (due) balance. So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures."
(Ar-Rahman:1-10)

The way we exceed the measures set by Allah and violate His laws of "cause and effect" is incredible. It is really the mercy of Allah that we are saved. Strictly speaking, the question should not be why does Allah allow suffering, but how much Allah protects us and saves us all the time in spite of our violations and negligence. The Quran says:
"If Allah were to punish people according to what they deserve, He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His servants."
(Fatir:45)

But sometimes Allah does punish people because of their violations of His laws whether they are physical or moral. The Quran tells us that many nations and communities were destroyed because of their sinful lifestyles:

If they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the Peoples before them (with their Prophets), the People of Noah, and Ad and Thamud. Those of Abraham and Lut; and the Companions of the Madyan people; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! How many populations have We destroyed, which were given to wrong-doing! They tumbled down on their roofs. And how many wells are lying idle and neglected, and castles lofty and well-built?" (Al-Hajj: 42-45)

3. Suffering can also be a test and trial for some people. Allah allows some people to suffer in order to test their patience and steadfastness. Even Allah's Prophets and Messengers were made to suffer. Prophet Ayyub is mentioned in the Quran as a Prophet who was very patient. Good people sometimes suffer but their sufferings heal others and bring goodness to their communities. People learn lessons from their good examples. Martyrs die for their faith, soldiers give their lives for their nations and this brings liberation and freedom for their people.

4. Allah sometimes allows some people to suffer to test others, how they react to them. When you see a person who is sick, poor and needy, then you are tested by Allah. Allah is there with that suffering person to test your charity and your faith. In a very moving Hadith Qudsi (Divine Hadith) the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

Allah will say on the Day of Judgment, "O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me." He will say, "O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds?" Allah will say, "Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?" Allah will say, "O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not." He shall say, "O my Lord, how could I feed you and you are the Lord of the Worlds?" And Allah will say, "Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was in need of food and you did not feed him? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found that to have been for Me?" "O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me to drink." The man shall say, "O my Lord, how could I give You water, when You are the Lord of the Worlds?" Allah will say, "My servant so-and-so asked you for water and you did not give him to drink water. Did you not know that if you had given him to drink, you would have found that to have been for Me?"
(Muslim, Hadith no. 4661)
Prophet `Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, is also reported to have said something similar in the Injeel (Gospel or New Testament of The Bible). (See Matthew 25: 35-45) So to summarize, we can say suffering occurs to teach us that we must adhere to Allah's natural and moral laws. It is sometimes to punish those who violate Allah's natural or moral laws. It is to test our faith in Allah and to test our commitment to human values and charity. Whenever we encounter suffering we should ask ourselves, Have we broken any law of Allah? Let us study the cause of the problem and use the corrective methods. Could it be a punishment? Let us repent and ask forgiveness and reform our ways. Could it be a test and trial for us? Let us work hard to pass this test. Believers face the sufferings with prayers, repentance and good deeds. The non-believers face the sufferings with doubts and confusions. They blame Allah or make arguments against Him. May Allah keep us on the right path, Amen!

That's just a retreat into mysticism. All it says is, "We don't really understand this, but it must be a good thing." I think that's foolishness.

Wouldn't it also happen then that in your devoting every thought in every waking moment to your allah that you become worth less as a human being as time and technology pass you by? Would a real God be the millstone around your neck - or encourage you to be free to be the best you can be to honour him by honouring yourself?

See this: a man who – in his childhood – visited the after-death world then returned again to this life of the World one hour later, and he told us in details what he saw in that world.

I don't believe any of that 'bull', and if I did, I would be ashamed of myself for being so
dependent on some myth to rule my life, I am quite capable of taking care of my own life,
I have a bright mind and a great desire to have a good life, and I will be in charge of
that life, 'I know how'.

God answers the prayer and grants the request

God cannot be tried: Satan said to Jesus: "Throw yourself from this mountain and pray God to save you." Jesus cursed Satan and said to him: "Away from me, Satan; God cannot be tried."

God cannot be obliged to do anything; so that they make obligation in their prayer that God must answer; this is up to God to answer or not; but they have to supplicate and humble themselves to their Lord.

God does not answer the prayer of the atheist or disbeliever or associater; unless this be His will; so that such answering of the prayer of the associater will be against him; because God is Most Gracious: He answers their prayer but they forget and deny His favors.

Conditions for the prayer to be answered:
· Ask God your needs, whatever they be, and believe He can do anything.
· It is better that your praying God be in secret.
· Ask Him earnestly.
· Be polite in your demanding your need from the Owner of all the heavens and earth; more than you do before a mighty king or a powerful man.
· It is better to start by the name of God, then praise the King of all the kings and creatures. Then ask forgiveness for your sins and say your requests from all your heart.
So God will certainly answer your prayer:
>> If you are not associater: that you consider someone or something equal to Him, or peer or patron or intermediate or redeemer or intercessor between you and Him.
>> In case your request is to your advantage: it may be man prays against his advantage but he is not aware of that.
>> It may be delayed according to His wisdom.
>> It is better to do some act of righteousness for the sake of God alone, not associating with Him any Christ, prophet, saint, imam or any righteous man.

This is in the Quran 2: 186
The explanation:
(And when My servants ask you [Mohammed] concerning Me, then, surely, I am Near; I answer the prayer's prayer when he prays to Me.
So let them seek My answer [by being obedient to Me],
and let them believe in Me [and My Holy Names];
so that they may be led aright.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, He answers the praying of the payer, when he prays him: he should pray him; although God knows very well all his needs.
They have also to seek the answer of their praying by being obedient.
As should they believe in God and His Holy Names: and ask God by these names:
= if they need mercy, they will say: O Most Merciful!
= if they need forgiveness, they will say: O Most Forgiving!
= As do they say: You are the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing and the All-Knowing about our condition.

I look forward to the remission of all cancers afflicting children, and soon I hope...

Here, I'll add my own little prayer...

Allah, Allah,
Here's the deal
If you can't do it,
Then you ain't real...

Ok, it's more of a cheer than a prayer really...but big A should get the point...

I look forward to the remission of all cancers afflicting children, and soon I hope...

Here, I'll add my own little prayer...

Allah, Allah,
Here's the deal
If you can't do it,
Then you ain't real...

Ok, it's more of a cheer than a prayer really...but big A should get the point...

you words no right I telling you before ,

the god make this life for test we , the pain no finish from this life this life just short for the next

the god answer that prayer If he assent or the god do best to the believer from that prayer after this life ...

and the prayer have check like this : -

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah [ra] narrated that RASUL’ULLAH [SAW] said: “O People! ALLAH IS GOOD and ALLAH accepts only what is pure and good! ALLAH has given the same command to the true believers as ALLAH has given to HIS MESSENGERS, SAYING: O MESSENGERS, EAT OF THE THINGS THAT ARE GOOD AND PURE, AND ACT RIGHTEOUSLY, FOR I KNOW WELL ALL THAT YOUDO!” AND ALLAH TA’ALA also said: “O TRUE BELIEVERS! EAT OF THE GOOD AND PURE THINGS WHICH WE HAVE PROVIDED FOR YOU.” Then RASUL’ULLAH [SAW] mentioned [the example of] a man who undertakes a long journey in a disheveled and dusty condition, then stretches out his hands towards heaven pleading: “O my Sustainer! O my Sustainer!” In the meantime, the food that he eats is haraam, the water that he drinks is haraam, the clothing that he wears is haraam, and all that he earns and covets is haraam! How can such a person expect an answer to his pleading?”

(Muslim; Tirmidhi; Ahmad)

It is ludicrous for such a person to expect a positive reply for his duahs. More and more Muslims are earning unlawful incomes. Their faith and trust in ALLAH TA’ALA as PROVIDER and SUSTAINER has eroded to such a degree that they seem to think that they have to fend for themselves, and they consider themselves as sole earners and providers for themselves and their families. This leads them towards excessiveness and extravagance, and a lot of their wealth goes to waste. They also become pompous and proud people, wishing to brag, boast and show off their wealth by having lavish homes and luxurious vehicles. When millions of people are suffering from poverty and malnutrition, is there justification for this kind of pomposity and showmanship? The Messengers of ALLAH TA’ALA were examples for all of us. They were the nearest to ALLAH TA’ALA. All their duah’s were accepted by ALLAH TA’ALA. Yet, they lived simple lives and were always part of the people. Why should we be different. Why not share the wealth and abundance ALLAH TA’ALA has given us with deserving causes, such as our Madaaris and our Massajid and other charitable and deserving causes? Then beg and plead to ALLAH TA’ALA and see how our prayers will be answered
