Also you could have a gun buy-back so that the people who are worried about the money can get paid off.

Let's see........I have one of these

$900 plus tax, so $1035.

I have two of these:

$1350 plus tax, so $1548 each

Plus a few others, probably averaging about $700 each........

For an average of $1000 per firearm.

Plus accessories like extra mags, at $80 each, etc etc etc.

So, at the very least over a billion dollars, plus admin costs.....

To achieve absolutely nothing.

Typical lefty stupidity and fiscal irresponsibility.

With mixed 'races' everywhere, race is becoming more about culture and human behaviour.
Perhaps it is a return to the way things were in the past rather than any new ground is being broken.

Of course there is. It's a (hopefully) non-contact contest of speed between people, animals, or machines.
All species have the common trait that they are entitled to a certain amount of 'personal space' and when that is invaded violent behavior is now at the top of the list of 'options' in some cases if not most cases.

It can be anything you want it to be.

Therefore we review every firearm available in Canada and either put it on a list of assault weapons or not.

Not rocket science.

and as for the handgun ban given the amount of crime being committed with handguns and the movements in both Montreal and Toronto to ban them I can't see how a federal government could not be looking into it.

Its common sense.

All the government can do is banking the ones they know of.IE the registered ones owned by law abiding taxpayers. It will have exactly as much effect on criminals as the current laws has.
Government and common sense cannot be used in the same sentence.

You know Mr. Tory wants all licensed gun owners to leave Toronto.

Now, if he was really concerned about murder rates, and not concerned about the rights of law abiding citizens to live where they please, he'd boot out all the citizens without gun licenses and replace them with people that have gun licenses...........and the murder rate would plummet.

That would be evidence based policy, as licensed gun owners have a murder rate 1/3 that of the general population.
What a bunch of crap.

Actually a pretty good idea from Colpy get all residents to apply for a PAL, those that can't qualify or only qualify for sustenance hunting shipped out of town ;)

Why so many pistols when you have only two hands? do your feet each hold a pistol too? Or do you just have one in every room and one in every vehicle just in case?

You mean like RESPEC DA TAXPAYER?

I belong to the human race. If you belong to another, let me know.

Yeah, but the first one gives you a boner because it looks like an M16 or C-7. LOL

Naw, I don't get boners over steel and plastic.

Close sometimes with fine walnut and fine bluing, especially on Parker type SxS shotguns.

But, I do like AR 15s.....reasonably light, ergonomically perfect, accurate, and dependable. A fine tool.

But to get really excited, it takes a fine shotgun.

Why don't you get some good guns?

Well, the S&W is prohibited in Canada (if that is a 4" barrel), and I just never cared that much for Glock..........

BTW, the first part of that sentence demonstrates the idiocy of Canadian gun laws..........the Smith is a prohib, the Glock is A-OK.

It doesn't have to make sense, it is gov't policy.

.

I bought my Browning in 1977..........

I bought a .22 pistol, a Walther.

When I carried revolvers, I bought the 686.

The rest I inherited from the late brother and my late father.

Besides, Colpy is subjected to a daily automated PRC check, so therefore he is the trustworthy one.

it is all you shady non-firearms owners that need to be given back ground checks. The more of you that get put in jail the better.

I don't have a firearm, but I do have blade arms. Do they count?
