As this topic is about broken promises I have another one to add to the growing list. Watching PP on CTV today when Mercedes interviewed the Minister of Veterans Affairs and what a sad, sorry, uniformed, parrot he is - she asked why the Vets were once again back in court trying to get their pensions. Do you think she could get a straight answer from the guy? Not on your life. Every word that came out of his mouth was polispeak or the liberal mantra. It was pathetic. It was embarrassing and most of all it is inexcusable.

They've got 3+ years yet, tay.................all kinds of time to become really inadequate. Must say though, now that all the plane trips, selfies, handing of of largess to nations large and small abroad - but little for Alberta - meetings with world leaders, etc etc are over and the real business of governing is underway - they've not inspired me with confidence. Trying to muzzle the opposition in order to push their own agenda is hardly sunny ways. More and more I am beginning to believe those who have said all a long that the Liberals never had a plan as they never really expected to win.

The one it replaced was a good government. lowered taxes, balanced budgets, even a small surplus.Respect in the international community. Then what happens? Some spoiled rich kid from Queerbek flushes it all down the toilet in a matter of months.
