Yes, it's because he was disengaged and has nothing to do with the BC NDP everyone's been talking about for the last year.

That conbot feed must be coming in pretty slow these days.

Lap up that koolaid MF. The Prime Minister thinks he's Leo Dicap and was probably advised by Goodale it was time to get off the selfie-red carpet before the whole thing blew up.

Wrong. It has to do with both the Feds and the Horgan/Weaver ostrich pact, you silly person you. This should spell the end for the all of them considering there was no reason whatsoever for them to interfere with the legitimate interests of the Nation. I am especially gleeful to see that silly dolt Horgan trying to deal with this decision. His court case is in even more peril now that the Feds are purchasing the line. His utter and complete downfall cannot come soon enough.

I'm not a fan of this move they should have just grew a pair and told B.C. dippers to phuck off and deal with it.

Really, what does this solve? The Federal Government approved it, the national regulating body approved it, the Liberals declared it in the national interest and had complete and total authority to ensure it's construction...all while Kinder Morgan was still in charge and it's investors were paying the bill. The reason they pulled out is because they needed assurance that Trudeau would do his job, exercise his authority, and eliminate the political barriers to getting it built. He couldn't do that.

Nothing has changed, BC is just as against the pipe as they were yesterday, the envrios and Tides Foundation is every bit as resolute in ensuring this project fails as they were yesterday. The only thing Trudeau did is spend 12 billion tax dollars to shift the monumental risk from private corporoate investors to the Canadian taxpayer. Nothing more!

Just wreaks of desperation, and by taking over the project are the protestors going to stop or are they going to have to roll in with law enforcement anyway.

Are upcoming national projects now going to have to be put in by the Gov. because they are scared to punish or force provinces to comply. Taking all the liability off private company's during construction and let them take over a completed infrastructure at cost or a small profit. What type of warranty or guarantee are the taxpayers going to be on the hook for?

I just don't like this approach is all

It makes no difference who owns the pipeline plan that is 600 BC permits short of approval.

As I said from the beginning, blood will be spilled if they force it.

Then blood needs to be spilled.

Wait 'til they sell dope and lose money doing it, for the first time in history.

Yeah.....there was an article on CBC about the thriving black market......in Colorado.

For all the same reasons.

$10/gram plus taxes for controlled THC levels.

Somebody I know buys primo at 14 grams for $90.

Do the math.

These people are idiots.

If you can grow 4 plants at home, why buy?

That's actually a good thing. It means less profit for cannabis business, so fewer businesses, so more difficult accessibility to cannabis for those who can't grow it at home.

Hmmm... maybe that's the solution. You can grow it but you can't sell it. Personal use only.
