Reagan's smile was genuine and it gave Americans hope after the Carter debacle.

Obama's smile is more like smirk and it gave Americans REAL hope: The Tea Party.

I think "The Chapter" on Obama is still being written. I think he'll go down in history, greatest "Black American president" for sure for many years to come.

Easy to be the GREATEST when one is the ONLY.

For many years to come.

Reagan's smile was the smile of an actor playing a role. Accomplished exactlty what it was planned to do.

I think Obama got handed a big helping of poo sandwich by the Bush Administration. I'm not a fan of Obama's, but he didn't exactly become President at the best of times. He's like the rebound girlfriend. It should also be remembered that America took a big leap in electing Obama after the debacle that was GW Bush's tenor.

Of course Clinton handed 911 to Bush because of his ineptitude regarding world affairs and not taking security and terror seriously enough. After the bombing of the USS Cole you think he might have jumped off that fat girl, zipped up and got down to business.

Reagan was a good President, but I will never endorse the random drug testing pushed on the public. Nor will George Herbert Bush's War on Drugs be anything , but a dismal failure. Ford was a good guy, a tad clumsy and a far cry better than Jimmy (The Dove) Carter who allowed the fall of the American Embassy in Iran and the hostage taking that lasted over a year. We are still living with the ramifications for the utter lack of failure on Carters part. Too bad he didn't stick with humanitarian work, becauise he was a crummy President.

That reminds me of another President who was left a poo sandwich. I'm saying poo, not because I'm five, but because the silly software is a swear censor by the the way. That was Lyndon B. Johnson who inherited the Vietnam War that President John F Kennedy committed too. Often looked upon as the mean out of touch Texan, poor Lyndon was really the fall guy for Kennedy's foolishness, and up until he died he struggled with their involvement.

I am sure if JFK or his brother Bobby had not been gunned down there would less fanfare and more scrutiny around the name Kennedy. He (John) was a philandering politician who used people like Frank Sinatra to get elected then almost got him killed when Bobby went after the Mob and the Unions. Had a gunman not killed the two of them History would not be as kind, or wear the blinders many do today.

As for John Juinor, I think he was a nice kid.

I think you've probably summed it up about as accurately as anyone.

that's true, I remember.
He was also talking about taking the Fed out of the hands of private bankers and having the state issue currency. I believe if you follow that trail you'll probably discover the source of the bullet that blew out the back of his head.

Yep. Can't have the control of money in the hands of the people. That would too much like democracy. This is one thing that makes people believe there is an Illuminati.

I'd forgotten that one. Pre tricky dick is getting before my time.
My take on the ones that I am old enough to have paid attention to:
Tricky dick: Lying crook that should have been in jail
Ford: Bumbling fool that was in over his head. To be fair it was not his fault he got the job.
Carter: Ineffective. Best that can be said for him is that he did no harm. Probably too nice a guy for the job.
Ronnie Raygun: Second rate actor, dumb as a stump but read his lines well and stuck to the script. Probably thought the whole thing was a movie.
Sr. Bush: Evil person . Most likely had his buds at Crooks In Action rig his election. Something about trading illegal guns for drugs with terrorists. Probably most responsible for Venezuela having a communist government.
Clinton: Nice guy, wanted to be loved by everyone. Did some good for ordinary people. Mostly followed the script that Hillary wrote for him.
Junior: Talking head, half as smart as a stump. Only got the job because daddy and his crook friends rigged the election. Just had to have his own war, or more probably was told to start one to keep the industrial-military complex in the black courtesy of the taxpayers.
Obama: Smart man but in over his head. The fact that the right wingnuts are upset with a black man in the white house has not helped him. Unfortunate enough to have been handed a major ****pile by his predecessor. Has done more for common people than everyone before him which is why the right hate him so much. Best chance the US has to keep from sinking into a fascist state.
If I missed anyone they must really have been of no consequence.
