OK so the dog wasn't eaten but it was a close call.Labs aren't the brightest dogs note how he escapes and then stands barking @ the Orca.

There was no "close call", that Orca didn't want to catch that dog, cause if it had wanted to, it would have.

That Orca looked to be a juvenile. It seemed pretty small to me. Probably just curious. The diver kinda looked like a seal until he got out of the water. He looked shaken by the experience. I wonder how long he sat on that rock before he came to shore?

yeah, I think he was curious and playfull, they aren't interested in eating dog meat.

now if it was a seal, it would have been toast.

Not too many critters find dog meat all that palatable. They are usually the meal of last resort, especially those raised on dry dog food. Most dogs, like their human masters, are not much more than toxic waste.

doesn't matter what the dogs or us eat, orcas aren't interested in dining on us.
