I'm pretty much in agreement with you Colpy, but the way he is isn't totally his fault (although he has had 40 years to do some compensating) His mother is a whacko raised in North Vancouver with a platinum spoon in her mouth and his father wasn't much better. Where Jr. falls down is he's short of experience in the real world. What he really needs is a year spent setting chokers on Haida Gwaii or a year on the Green Chain. Then he'd have a well rounded education and not just a brat!

To be fair he was away so it was up to his wife to lock the door on the house, but we have no way to know what the entire scenario was that night. Was it on a weekend? Probably not too good to jump to any conclusions, other than she is stupid or he is too stupid to have her trained properly. We just don't know.
I'm afraid with Jr. P.M. would be too much for him, first of all he doesn't come across as a "take charge" kind of guy, he's a man of ideas but very little substance and has never shown (to me anyway) any real leadership. In a crisis he'd disappear!

There was probably cause for a bit of concern at the time, but as far as news is concerned I think it's run its course! Now if it resulted in three axe murders I could see it.
