Or better yet, that modern day Arabs in Israel are worse off than Arabs in any Arab/Muslim country, save for the elite few. Nice try at moving the goalposts though. If you really want to talk about Jews in Europe in the 1940's, maybe we can talk about the Mufti of Jerusalem and his influence. I seem to recall there being some murmurs that the "final solution" was his idea. Hitler was initially content deporting Jews, the Mufti convinced him he could take a permament action. If that's true, of course, we'll let the historians battle that one out.

Anyhow, diversion aside, it's interesting how you feel free to speak for non-muslims living in Arab/Muslim countries, but don't want to presume to speak for Palestinain Arabs....on this question anyway. I guess you don't like what you know the answer is.

Oh, and Arab immigration into Israel proper is alive and well, and Arab immigration into the territories is booming. In fact the growth of the Arab population in Israel is outpacing the growth of the Jewish population. Ethnic cleansing, indeed.

Current Israeli immigration laws only allow Jews to immigrate to Israel. Non-Jews cannot immigrate to Israel, even if they are the spouse or child of a non-Jewish Israeli citizen or resident.

Israeli laws which define zones where only Jews can live have even made non-Jewish Israelis and residents illegal residents of their own homes. Not only would these people not qualify to buy their home, just living in their home breaks Israeli law. These non-Jews have to continually reapply for permission to live in their homes.
