Until this point yeah, it was thought they couldn't.

Now that DNA shows they can, there's a shitton of questions that I'm sure will be looked at.

OF course it's science so the anti-science-right wing crowd will likely demand that no one look into it, that foxes and dogs can't breed together and it's a lie... or something.

I don't think anyone is implying it couldn't be manufactured in a petri dish. no doubt faux-chi will find a way to add a carrier virus into the genetic make-up.

We should definitely do it!

I’ve never heard of a dog/fox hybrid but Coydogs are common, though a real battle to train….but they can turn into nice animals given enough time & patience.

According to the beentoskool citiots anyway. People that live in the bush say otherwise. Foxes don't live in my part of the country, so I don't know for sure. For a long time, it was considered a myth that wolves fish. Until an"expert" caught them on film.
Here is another interesting factoid. I have lived on Vancouver Island since 1977. When I moved here from the mainland, I was told there were no grizzlies on the island. Until there was. The first proven one was in Tsuqualti. Native village north end of the island. Chief phoned conservation officer who said you are drunk. There are no griz on the island. So they shot it and got a cop to come and verify it. The second was shot across the river from my place in Sayward.

Yeah well that was a sarcastic dig at the right wing who love to reject science when it doesn't fit their narrative.

But true, lefty types also think that way sometimes.

Just righty's are more known for it.

And for saying science stops when they want it to, despite how science continually advances and changes once "known" things.

Like a fox and dog mating, like animals moving from biome to another.

Like human sexuality isn't just binary :p
