A Toronto man is charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked another man with an axe Friday morning.
The victim was assaulted several times with the axe near Dundas St. W. and Bloor St. W. just before 9 a.m., police said. He was sent to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, 64-year-old Rallin Edward Lawes, is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday.
