OK...on an ugly (but lighter) note...tying into the "Me.Me.Me..."
personality of Mr. Pauchey and the rehabilitation we can expect
from him after his previous fifty-plus convictions:
“What’s prison going to do for me? It keeps me away from
my family, from my daughter and from the things I like doing.”

On a more serious note. This isn't over. There are basically two
camps of thought on this sentence, and they're diametrically opposed:
1) Those that are outraged and disgusted that the Judge did not
respect the wishes and guidance of the Sentencing Circle. Pauchey
got prison time, and the sentencing circle wanted zero time served
for these deaths. That might be seen as racist and disrespectful.
2) Those that are outraged and disgusted that the sentence was so
lenient compared to other sentences of a perceived similar nature,
due to a perceived two tier legal system (real or not). These people
will be called racists.
This may boil over into something uglier than what had already been
created by Mr. Pauchey so far. The two camps of thought seem to
follow racial lines, reading comments on the story in the comment
sections following these stories in the newspapers. Lets hope that
it stays just as comments, and not actions.
