Tyr, that is possible, I suppose (if Republicans can go gaga over Joan of Arc, they will nominate anybody). However, Gingrich has some serious baggage associated with him.

The biggest one of course, is hypocrisy. While he was racking Clinton over the coals for having an affair with his intern, Gingrich was doing exactly the same thing, having an affair with his intern.

Then there are his three marriages (and divorces, I assume). It turns out he was having an affair with another woman when his wife was in the hospital (for delivery or illness, I don’t recall).

All his dirty laundry will be out in the open if he is the nominee. Now, while the far right Republican base won’t have any problem with Gingrich, they will support him enthusiastically (the attitude of the far right base has always been do as I say, not as I do), I don’t think he would go down well with the population at large.

Democrats were hugely successful in demonizing Gingrich, and they will do it again if he is the nominee. No, with Gingrich a candidate, I think we may be looking at republican rout in 2012, even if the economy is in the tank.

He is banned for life.

That's what "green" and "the war on terror"is all about.

Getting broke schleps to pay for NG development and distribution.

The boys and girls down at GE are geniuses who know how to play emotions for Corporate gain.

Nobody has been GIVEN more money than GE through this "Green" movement and the "War On Terror" as weapons contactors.

SUCKERS!

certainly guarantee a victory for America & the world.
The certainty of no Obama is the victory. Hopefully the US will return to its former position of respect once the poseur has left the oval office.

Yup. What the world needs now is a Republican president willing to come out of the gate with guns a blazing. Nuke 'em all and let their god sort it out.

Jim Carville is a master at what he does. Making Rush the poster boy for conservative politics
was a great plan. I have followed the workings of jimmy for a long time.
Besides the conservatives don't know when to be quiet. They become so sanctimonious.
for example Huckabee is announcing Obama will not survive as President. The ole Benghazi
thing you know.
If they actually were able to get rid of Obama their problems will begin. All those poor and newly
enfranchised voters will turn out in droves in heavily populated urban areas and literally destroy the
Republicans. Don't think so? Venezuela that country has the same situation. The rich and
middle class whites were the bulk of voters. The poor and minorities discovered they had more
people that the white middle class and rich by virtue of showing up to vote.

wALTER- an American president is limited to two, usuallly consecutive, but not necesasarily consecutive, four year terms in total . OF COURSE he is leaving the oval office. Its called the 22nd admendment to the American constitution.

Advise if you need any other 'truths'

The USA re-gained the international prestige it lost under the Bush regime thanks to President Obama. This may not sit with those far right types that hate America but it suits me just fine & dandy.

Rush Limbaugh supports amnesty … on 1 condition

...bitches.

“I’ll support amnesty,” Limbaugh said this week, “but they can’t vote for 25 years” (FREE audio).

Limbaugh suggested the “compromise,” knowing full well, “The people for amnesty will never go for it that way. … If we make everything else in immigration possible except they can’t vote, then what happens to the support for it? It would all plummet and fall apart.”

Rush pointed out, “The Democrat Party needs a permanent underclass in order to stay in power,” adding, “The Democrats become the providers. Santa Claus. And then on the other side of that, who is it that wants to take it away from them? That would be the Republicans, who are mean-spirited, cold-hearted extremists, so goes the story” (FREE audio).

Oh dear. Gopher Gopher Gopher.

U.S. approval ratings for the most part remain stronger than they were at the end of the last Bush administration, Gallup said. In Europe, median approval of U.S. leadership was still twice as high in 2012 as it was during the last years of the Bush administration

and the only reason why it is declining now is because Obama and Congress are leaning too far to the right wing

Oh Gopher... it must be so hard. You don't even try anymore.

From your article...

"Worldwide approval of U.S. leadership dipped considerably during President Barack Obama’s fourth year in office "

lol My nickname for him was Sir Joey Pompass. (Pompass being a combo of pompous and a$$ invented by Zan, I believe). He chose his CC nickname well, though. Sir joseph Porter is a role in the Pirates of Penzance, characterized by a bombastic, self-important, self-entitled, inept bureaucrat. :D I told him he had all the signs of a typical narcissist and his reply was, "What's wrong with being a narcissist?" lol
