Theses 3 references apply to the same group of people. The ones that are part of the Re:20:4 group are alive for the 1,000 year reign, the rest of mankind are alive at the Great White Throne event, which is a chastisement rather than a harsh judgment that is then applied in addition to what the 1,000 year imposed.Nowhere in scriptures does it suggest that anyone gets out of hell to receive rewards after being punished.
Get the quote if you know of one.
I have read your posts, I'm quite comfortable with the gap in our different belief systems. . . . best of luck.Religious proselytizing or Atheist proselytizing?
One is as bad as the other and find ridicule in both....
Why don't people people believe what they want to believe without feeling the need to change my beliefs?
After that, we can work on what "moral" means. The way I see it is, before we start discussing about whether it's moral for God to punish us, I think we should establish first that there definitely IS a God. Otherwise we could be wasting a lot of time!
Maybe you should look up the etymology of the word "Moral"...non?After that, we can work on what "moral" means.
We live in a history that God has set up and is fully responsible for. God, punishing man, who can do nothing but follow God’s plan and the nature God has put in us, is having innocent people suffer for the wrongs God himself has pre-destined and which cannot be altered.
So God is the root of the moral based emotion of guilt or is the punishment physical in the material world?
If god has the characteristics usually ascribed to him, whatever he does is right, by definition.
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding." (Psalm 111:10 NIV)
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10 NIV)
Bingo. According to the godbotherers, Gawd is incapable of evil or error.
Therefore, if Gawd punishes people, it must be moral to do so.
lean not unto your own understanding. ~ woe to them who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight~ I'm sure you can name chapter and verse My memory ain't what it use to be.
Delos McKown had an answer for that: he said, "The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike"."That and the complete lack of verifiable, reliable evidence of involvement."
How much physical proof do you expect to find during a period of time that is reserved for belief coming (or not) from reading the Bible? Considering the number of people looking for proof it can be concluded that He seems to be quite good at hiding his tracks.

You are lost? The lost and the found look quite different.
