Go to Buddy's on Jasper Ave sometime. You'll find plenty of male pole dancers and men who watch them.

well, that's not enough to make it viable.

having Gay men watching men on a pole to me is not entertaining in the least.

Did you forget, half the population is female. If they eliminated every event that someone can draw a sexual overtone upon. there would be no Olympics and we'd all dress in shower curtains.

ya but women on a pole dancing is different than a Man on a pole dancing.

you do a survey of women, ask them if they'd want to watch a man dancing on a pole in their bedroom, see how many would say yes to that..

Since when were Olympics held in a bedroom? Now, what would happen if it was called Veritical Bar?

i'm talking in a different manner smartass.

Pole Dancing is a way for women to stay in shape.. and it's of course in strip joints.

but if a Married woman had her husband come home and install a pole and started to dance for her.. there's a good chance that she'd say "hell no!"

there is something wrong about a man dancing on a pole.

I sure wouldn't do it, and I'd never watch another man.

isn't this that video where they're simulating sex?

'that video'? lol. There's a few videos out there. This is the 'Trojan Olympics:power Lifting' video. There's also a Precision Vault video out there, and a Judo video if you go searching for them, that show sex as an Olympic sport.

Pole Dancing , bottom line won't get into the olympics.

people would not be able to separate what it is in real life.

I know at least four women who do pole dancing as classes at a local gym. To me that's as much 'what it is in real life', than the strip joint.

Do you have a link ... because I saw what might be considered by you to be pole dancing in my high-school gym - quite a while before any strip club ever thought it might be a good addition for Pervert's Row

Pole dancing was first in the Circus.. then they say in 1950's it became known in Burlesque homes..

so you'r telling me that before then.. that conservatist, religious based schools back then would have had that..?

I hardly doubt it too.... Parallel bars are so versatile - and adjustable.

From the very first line in your Wikilink:

yea I know,

but the problem is that too many people when they hear Pole dancing, think Strip joints.. not exercise/dancing.
