It is open for discussion. But again you play your BS. As you had mentioned your online behavior, did not someone threaten to take that to your employer. And if I recall, you stated it could have cost you your job.
That speaks volumes. Me I have nothing to be embarrassed about or ashamed of my posts. Do you?

Typical...implied threat. Tell me why those that were responsible for My Lai not brought up on war crimes charges? Why did they, for the most part, get away with what they did? Why is it not a single american, or ally, been brought up on charges? Why is it that, it would appear, it is ONLY members of the 2nd world war German armed forces facing all these "war crimes"?

I see you pulled your implied threat out...too bad, I had already quoted it.

Will this German Soldier get the same consideration?

I do not know.

Na. Only losers get nailed. Calley was a sacrificial lamb or scape goat to make the appearance of justice. I've always wondered how D!ck Cheney got away with his role in the Iraq debacle.

I doubt it. Not all war criminals are ever tried. Of those that are, not all are convicted. Of those that are, not all are executed or serve life sentences.

Is it your argument that because of this, no war criminals should be charged?

There was not even an "appearance" of justice. The man is found guilty of murdering 22 people and serves one day in Leavenworth and a little over 3 years house arrest. And here is Goober, calling for a 90 year old mans head for POSSIBLY killing 1 resistance fighter.

I realize the US has committed war crimes- I just do not have a singular hate on for the US. You do.
Do not expect me to join.
As to my heads location, on the top of my shoulders, and clear as day. So that point you made is in error.
So instead of your usual insulting Members, why not grow up and have a civil discussion.

Would you expect rabbits to quit screwing?

I admit I'm not a fan of the US in general but that means their leaders, politics and policies and I do not hate them. Hate is to much work. What I do despise is their hypocrisy. They are quick to ignore the Geneva Conventions when it suits them and their purpose and quick to invoke them against their foes for anything at all.

When you have a "rule book" that covers thousands of different situations and thousands of different circumstances for each situation the rule book sometimes doesn't work too good. Rule books are devised by bureaucrats and that sh*t doesn't always work in war or any situation of crisis.

I don't recall saying that! I think the U.S. got away with some sh*t as I think every country ever engaged in war got away with some sh*t. I doubt if the U.S. got away with anymore sh*t than Germany, Japan, U.S.S.R. or Italy did.

As many have pointed out the U.S. actually started very few wars. You can't suck and blow at the same time.

Put down the crack pipe old man! The US has been the aggressor in many wars and been an uninvited guest in many others.

The main point here though is that the Americans are quick to use that 1000 page book against all their foes but believe it doesn't apply to them. They think they are above the law.
