Adaptation to any potential slight increase in temperature will still be cheaper than the church of Globull Warming demand for wealth redistribution.
Wealth distribution will happen regardless. For instance, poor Alaskan villages may be inundated with water due to increased erosion from a slight temperature change (as has happened in Kivalina, Alaska, for example). So, in that instance, you have these poor shmuks who have a tiny carbon footprint having to pay for new homes and new lives due to actions of wealthier people with much larger carbon footprints. That's essentially distributing wealth from the poor to the rich. Or the feds may step in and pay for relocation which is still wealth distribution because they'll use hundreds of millions in federal tax money.
