It is certainly more apparent Goob, considering the wide array of technology at our fingertips today - people only too willing to share their thoughts, and the special coverage given by the media to the more blatant racist behaviors. It is also more frowned upon than in days gone by when racist terms were part of the language of the day.

Petros nailed it when he wrote, 'The more things change, the more they stay the same'. There will always be a certain segment of all populations who hold racist beliefs, it is the nature of some humans. Education is a key to changing these beliefs by refuting them with incontrovertible fact.
