Not really. You count our oil as your oil. If you take away Canadian oil from the equation you don't have much at all.

Whoo.... no one tell Scott about the Bakken formation. Let's all save that little bit of investment advice for ourselves. ;-) And ignore the Gulf Coast too k? There's nothing there in terms of oil reserves. Nothing at all.

Man SF, you are so incredibley brainwashed by propaganda.

All you do is drink from the well of corporate propaganda. You think because the shill you listen to rails against "Corporate Media" that it is in fact not another form of Corporate Media? Being a corporation in the media business and all.

Your like a citizen of Eurasia crying about how evil Eurasia is, and you know this because you listed to those fine folks in Oceana.

I don't listen to anything. I don't have TV and only listen to radio on rare occasions. There is no "shill" I listen to. I belong to no group, I am not religious nor political.

I'm afraid that any stereotype you ascribe to me is going to be wrong. I think this is why people take such offense to the things I say - they have no framework in which to read my opinion and so make false assumptions.

Most stereotypes people apply to others ARE wrong. I've heard you apply at least one that made me snicker in its broad miss of the mark. It was your comment about Praxius listening to Bill O'Reilly... I don't know, maybe he does. But Praxius is typically a bit too left and anti-Bush for me to think that he would spend much time enjoying that particular show. But then again, maybe I'm stereotyping.

<buzzer sound> No really...we have oil.

Sure, and how about baseball and basketball? We invented those too.

<buzzer sound> False. If anyone created baseball it was the British because of the "bat and ball" games. The first full documentation of a baseball game was from Ontario but that hardly means you created it. But I can see how a Canadian would derive that.

<buzzer sound> Basketball was created by a Canadian BUT it was created in Springfield Massachusetts as an indoor game to keep the young boys in shape during the winter. That is why the Basketball Hall of Fame is in Springfield Mass and not Manitoba!

But although you tried to spin (poorly I may add) Canada's Sport hockey is only sustainable here in the USA!

I understand what your saying and agree with you. I wasn't actually applying a stereo type to Praxius but pointing out a source of his memes. I very much enjoy listening to and finding the sources of memes. I don't mean, of coarse, that Praxius worships O'Reilly or even that he watches him but O'Reilly is a prime source of the kind of memes Praxius was using in the post I responded to. There might be other sources - I'm sure there are actually - but if I want to hear them I know O'Reilly will provide them.

People very often subscribe to memes without realizing it and they sometimes (often) hold contradicting memes, ideologies and beliefs - especially in this day and age.

Ok buddy, whatever makes you feel good.

I'm surprised someone who thinks so little of Canada and Canadians would hang out on a Canadian forum?

Naw ... It has more to do with luring in trolls then spanking them in public places.

So you would deny our heritage too? Not only that but you would deny it and stand beside a foreigner who denies it also! Your a funny guy lone wolf...

Also, I am not a troll.

All I said was that I didn't respect our soldiers and it got this huge flood of mindless responses.

A troll starts things. I didn't start this. I only voiced my opinion and people couldn't handle it.

Scotty hearing about the biggest oil find in the US since oil was discovered in Saudi would send him to the floor pounding and kicking.

That would break his little heart!

I think a lot about Canada and my Canadian pals here on CANCON. That IS why I hang out here from time to time.

But I also enjoy pointing out hypocrits for what they are.

Not true. If this is the case then I'm pleased. It means Canada, even the world on whole, is a little safer.

Deny my heritage? Would you care to elaborate?

The responses you got are opinions. Are you the only one allowed to have one? A lot of people died, suffered, and give up big hunks of life so we could have the right to have 'em - even you. That's worthy of some gratitude at the very least.

Woof!

Me too but I don't go to a US web forum to do it... interesting... hypocrites you say... hmmmm..

Heck this forum has a place that even says "US POLITICS". Do you want a Canadian only forum? Start your own. CanCon is a place for all views whether you agree or not.

If you did go to a US Forum and started talking about Canada you wouldn't draw much attention.

At any rate...I like it here on CanCon and they allowed me to join.
