Great Canuck score, too bad Calgary has to win and Edmonton had to lose the shootout. I see S.J. is clawing their way back, it's going to be very competitive in the Western Conf. I hope you taped a couple of games, Talloola so you don't suffer withdrawls over the Xmas break.

no withdrawls, canucks play on sunday, and the junior world tournament starts sunday and goes on for
the week.

Hope you are well again, Tallola and are enjoying the Canucks game! With less than four minutes left as I write this, I think it is safe to say that your guys have the game well in hand. I thought they played really well tonight. They made the Flyers look like rank amateurs. I thought the fights that broke out were really stupid, but that`s just me, I would rather see a full three periods of play quite frankly. That said, I sure hope that your team can keep up the level of intensity they showed tonight. They really look more than ready for the play-offs. I thought they were absolutely super at penalty killing, well at least until they were four on three after the stupid fight.
Great game, I am glad I caught it. Happy New Year, tallola.

I'm feeling fine now, lost a little weight over a 24 hr period, which is just fine,
I'll try 'not' to get it back. lol
happy new year to you as well, and yes, canucks came to play tonight, made a big statement to the flyers,
which is so important between these two teams right now, as they are two of the top teams in the league.
canucks are so fast, and so responsible defensively as well, with 4 very good lines, a very deep team,
which is necessary if a team wishes to go far in the season, and well into playoffs.

And also without raymond, he will practice with the team tomorrow I think, and be back in the lineup
very soon, and he is one of the fastest players on the team, they played super without him, which is
good, but with him they should continue to fly.

Yeah, the fights do look stupid, but shelley was determined to be a sh*t disturber, and poor alberts
stood by and got knocked out cold by shelley who sucker punched him. Sometimes the fisticuffs just
can't be helped, anyway they are over quickly, and on they play.

I felt very proud of this team tonight, they have come a long way this year, played thru lots of injuries,
lots of non chemistry type games, trying to find their way. Coach vineault has brought them to this
point in the season, and now they have to continue at this level the rest of the season. I know they
will have to go thru a bit of a lull now and then, and injuries are always waiting to happen, but they
have earned their way so far, good for them, now they 'know' how good they are.

Canucks were excellent and Philly hardly woke up!

shows what happens when you underestimate your opponant, take too much time off, thinking
you can win without trying your hardest, oops sorry philly, doesn't work that way.
better luck next time, and we better believe it, as they will be ready next time, and not
so stupid, as they were in this game.

Another convincing win against a top team tonight. Hope they continue in 2011.

yes, another good win for canucks, against a team only one point behind us in the conference.
we were badly outshot, but if one was really paying attention, you could see after the 4-0 lead,
that canucks took their foot off of the gas, 'conserving' energy, and played defence. They have lots
of games on this trip, and must watch for fatigue setting in, so no need to roar up and back, trying to
pile up goals, they knew they could protect that lead, looked sloppy at times, and schneider played a
terrific ame, good test for him. Canucks allowed dallas loose on their goalie, but schneider can sit
next game, and 'fresh' and 'new dad', luongo can play.

next will be back to back games, first colorado then san jose. (sun. and mon.)

Ummm Cannuck, I've been having a few Alzheimer's moments and I keep forgetting which teams are better than the Vancouver Canucks in the N.H.L. I'm sure you can bring me up to date.

for now everyone, canucks are number one in the NHL

enjoy it, they have earned it, tough road trip, and now on to san jose tomorrow,
it will difficult beating them on the back end of back to back games, they are big,
very good, and at home.

GO CANUCKS GO

OH, by the way what ever happened to all the negative, canuck bashers, whiners and
complainers, guess they will be back after the first loss of this run.

I am really impressed with Canucks D-line. They have made blueline pinching an art form. They contribute so much to the forcecheck.

yes, they have waited a long time for such a deep blue-line, hamhuis and ballard added so much to the
mix, and soon salo will be back, 'no' don't worry, when he is injured again, they will still have alberts
and rome, they are ready. lol

canucks played their best game of this road trip tonight, against san jose. back end of back to back
games didn't phase them at all.

schneider played solid, and burrows was first star, but the whole team was sharp and matched san jose
goal for goal, then scored the extra to win 4-3

they swept this road trip, dallas, colorado and san jose.

they continue to sit 'on top' of the NHL, don't know about others, but for me this is very exciting
and this team is just rolling right now, at the half-way mark of the season.

salo is travelling and skating with the team, but when he steps on the ice they will have dropped
a little over a million of cap space, so maybe they will wait as long as they can, to see just how
they will do that.

no hurry to put him back in the line-up, the team is humming along just fine without him.

HOME NOW - calgary wed., edmonton fri., and detroit sat.
