Hope you are well again, Tallola and are enjoying the Canucks game! With less than four minutes left as I write this, I think it is safe to say that your guys have the game well in hand. I thought they played really well tonight. They made the Flyers look like rank amateurs. I thought the fights that broke out were really stupid, but that`s just me, I would rather see a full three periods of play quite frankly. That said, I sure hope that your team can keep up the level of intensity they showed tonight. They really look more than ready for the play-offs. I thought they were absolutely super at penalty killing, well at least until they were four on three after the stupid fight.
Great game, I am glad I caught it. Happy New Year, tallola.
I'm feeling fine now, lost a little weight over a 24 hr period, which is just fine,
I'll try 'not' to get it back. lol
happy new year to you as well, and yes, canucks came to play tonight, made a big statement to the flyers,
which is so important between these two teams right now, as they are two of the top teams in the league.
canucks are so fast, and so responsible defensively as well, with 4 very good lines, a very deep team,
which is necessary if a team wishes to go far in the season, and well into playoffs.
And also without raymond, he will practice with the team tomorrow I think, and be back in the lineup
very soon, and he is one of the fastest players on the team, they played super without him, which is
good, but with him they should continue to fly.
Yeah, the fights do look stupid, but shelley was determined to be a sh*t disturber, and poor alberts
stood by and got knocked out cold by shelley who sucker punched him. Sometimes the fisticuffs just
can't be helped, anyway they are over quickly, and on they play.
I felt very proud of this team tonight, they have come a long way this year, played thru lots of injuries,
lots of non chemistry type games, trying to find their way. Coach vineault has brought them to this
point in the season, and now they have to continue at this level the rest of the season. I know they
will have to go thru a bit of a lull now and then, and injuries are always waiting to happen, but they
have earned their way so far, good for them, now they 'know' how good they are.
